we've had almost 1 year now haven't to use it yet thankfully go to know it out there just in case it's needed . power's the entire house . with full size freezer and refrigerator in the basement. plus the furnace system . a very comfortable feeling for the the both of us.

So happy to have this unit installed today. There is a Generac at my workplace and it is seamless in a power outage. Trying to maintain power with a pull start mobile generator has become too much for my husband to handle. This purchase will allow us the ability to travel and not worry about the what ifs in storm season. The installation team was amazing and very thorough, making sure that all processes and apps were installed, checked and that we had a good understanding of everything before they left.

This is our second generac generator. We had one in Texas and now live in Colorado. Last year before we installed our generator, I was home by myself for 54 hours in a huge snowstorm with no power. The worst part of it was no well for water. Refrigerated food had to be put outside in the snow. That's when we decided to get our Generac.

Excellent System! During Hurricane Ida, we lost power on that Sunday afternoon, was restored Friday evening. System kicked on, was shut down daily to check oil, which it did not use a drop. Ran my house with no problems, even able to wash and dry clothes. Used double oven. My daughter and her son came over because they lost power as well, brought the food out her refrig and freezer to keep it from spoiling. One thing to note, system stayed relatively cool, unlike portable generators I have used in the past. So this unit should last a long time. Haven't got my gas bill yet, but I didn't have to go in search of gas or go out twice a day and fuel the unit, so that's a plus right there

I did a lot of research into backup generators, some had a few more bells and whistles so was the cost. From what I found Generac stood above them all. The 18Kw will meet out needs. We went through ESCON Power Solutions, Bay City, MI for the purchase and installation. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation was done correctly (a couple of unplanned challenges were found during the installation). I highly recommend them if you are looking for a Generac dealer.

I live way out in the sticks so when the power goes out, we are the last ones to get the power restored. I have the 22KW whole home system. This is the best investment I’ve ever made, by far! Our power goes out a few times a year and sometimes it’s out for 7 or more days. About 2 weeks ago, we were hit with high winds and thousands if people were without power, but NOT US! The outage lasted for 6 days and we never knew it was off in the first place. When the power goes out, it takes the generator 20 seconds to start up and it never shuts off until the power is restored. In those 6 days, it used 105 gallons of natural gas, but it was worth every single penny. If you’re thinking about buying one, just do it. I promise, you won’t regret it!!

We decided to move forward and invest in a home generator for the Gulf Coast hurricane season.Never would I have imagined having to use my generator for the 1st time ever in an Ice Storm in Houston Texas where temperatures were a record 5-9 degrees Fahrenheit. (Coldest temperatures in 90+ years). We were victims of the infamous Texas Freeze (Feb. 14-20) and were without power for 5 consecutive days and temperatures were below freezing 4-5 consecutive days. People literally lost their lives during this storm. I am blessed to report that our Generac supplied power to our entire 4,300sq ft home and we had heat at 78-80degrees, lights, water ( no frozen pipes) internet and all accessible electrical appliances and never lost a beat. My mom is 85 years young and I can’t imagine what might’ve happened had we not been protected by God and our Generac home generator. It’s money well INVESTED!!!

I’ve been waiting a long time to purchase my Generac Whole Home Generator. Having my new generator gives me a great sense of security. Since I was a child with Hurricane Betsy, we’ve never left our home for any of Louisiana’s hurricanes, We suffered thru the power outages and the heat and lots of ice chest full of food and drink. Pulling electrical cords and fans thru our home. And now we’ll be living in absolute comfort from the moment our power goes out to the moment our wonderful lineman restore power to our grid.
