Living in frigid Minnesota we were very impressed with the heating elements for both the oil filter and battery to assure optimal operation. The safety labels are highly visible on all elements. The automatic weekly testing mode takes that task off of our to-do list.

I had a whole house generator installed for 2 reasons, I have a health issue requiring electricity for my CPAP machine to work and with frequent power outages and I wanted the peace of mind that I would have during the night if my power went out. I had a a whole house generator at y previous residence and it was nice knowing I had power when there ere outages.

Just had the Generac installed this week and now We have the peace of mind when we go on vacation or out of town and the power goes out there is no need to worry about my freezers and refrigerator not operating. Also the sump pump is always ready without shutting down in a storm. The Two gentlemen that did the install were highly trained in installation of these units. they answered every question I could think of. Just had a 4 day power interruption in Texas but with my Generac 22kw literally saved my 86 year old moms life who requires electricity to run her oxygen pump for her medical copd condition that lives with me. Generac built a incredible machine that worked to provide heat and light in our house in subfreezing conditions operating on natural gas. I unreservedly recommend to every family to protect their loved ones in this climate change.

After dealing with major hurricanes and electric company outages, we finally purchased our Generac Guardian Series WiFi enabled 22kW whole house generator with Automatic Transfer Switch. We could not be happier, since it runs on propane and is automatic. We no longer have to deal with our portable generator, which was good, but such a hassle. No more need to drag out our 15kW portable generator from the garage, chain it down, then continually fill it with diesel fuel, if you can find it. Once that was done we had to run multiple extension cords from the generator to all over the house. When up and running our 15kW was very loud and couldn't power our either of our large central air conditioners.

I lost an entire finished basement due to a power outage. Called for an installation the following week. They finish today tested it and now finally!!! I can go back on vacations and not have to worry about losing power anymore. Thank you Generac for making a quality generator. I can sleep well at night thank you Ron

I had been looking at other backup generators and I got a quote from another brand.. They were $2500+ higher than the Generac 7209 and I got a bigger unit! 24K vs 20K Folks had it installed in a day and then next day we had an hour power disruption. Generator worked like a charm. Could not have been anymore pleased. Didn't have a problem with 3500ft home electrical needs.
