For a long time, I have told people the plastic wrap around paper products could be recycled at the grocery store along with grocery bags. But I still didn't like bringing so much plastic into my house in the first place. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I saw that Soft & Strong now comes wrapped in paper! I've always liked that QN plants replacement trees & has no dyes, but now that you're using paper to wrap the rolls, I will not buy any other brand. Usually, I only buy TP that I have a coupon for! Thank you for helping to protect Mother Earth, it matters!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love quilted northern! It is a nice thick plush like toilet paper that doesn't tear to easily! It has a nice texture to it and cleans well without scratching or any soreness! It's great and I am 100% satisfied with the job it does!!!

I said, "that's not a tissue, baby" and she said "well, this is better for my nose because tissues are scratchy and this has NEVER scratched me so I'm not 'a-scared' of it!"

There is another big name brand that makes more plush toilet paper but we’re afraid of it clogging our toilets… We tried Member’s Mark (Sam’s store brand) and it leaves lint behind… We also tried the big online retailers own brand. It was a great product at a very good price until they changed it and it’s not soft anymore. So, we pay more for this than the last two I mentioned but It’s worth it to have less lint and a softer product! And, I buy this from Sam’s instead of from the major online retailer (mentioned earlier) because here I can calculate the price per square foot. The other company tries to hide that info from you and I don’t like that!

I had tried others and found that they only irritated the situation even more. Then, a doctor suggested Quilted Northern. I tried it and never looked back. The true test came when I was using the toilet and had to blow my nose. I used Quilted Northern and was able to see just what it's capable of handling. It serves double duty. No one wants a product that leaves evidence behind on one's behind! Yet no one wants a product that is so thin that one needs to do a double or triple hand washing after a toileting break... I only have used quilted northern for years...this batch has all kinds of cotton/debris within it so when you unroll it, it goes everywhere with remnants of such “left behind” when used. This batch/bag has been pretty horrible and a headache to deal with.

I wanted something safe for the septic but let's face it, most fall apart in your hand. Not this one. It does the job without the leftover residue (you know what I mean) and breaks down in the flush.
