I normally use a different brand, but due to the shortage I bought Quilted Northern when I saw it was in stock on their website. I'm a convert! This toilet paper is thick and soft. I need to use less of it than I do of other leading brands. Thanks for working hard to keep the supply moving!

Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong is neither soft nor strong in my experience, contrary to the claims of the company. The first sheet that showed when I took the roll out of the package appeared quilted because I could see the pattern shown on the package and website. But after I removed the visible sheets (2 or 3 squares), there was no more quilted pattern. The sheets are rough and thin--the two plies immediately separate, making this tissue useless. This is one of the biggest product disappointments I've encountered in a long time. I would change brands rather than risk trying the luxury “upgrade.”

My neighbor asked me the other day which hand I wipe myself with. And I said my right hand. And he said that's funny I use toilet paper. LOL Okay all jokes aside here folks. This is really gentle on your bum especially if you have chronic hemmorhoids like I do. Try it you'll like it.

Now that I make the tp decisions, I love using Quilted Northern because it can do double duty! Not only does it do a great job for the typical use of toilet paper but it is also soft enough to double as nose tissue when someone has the sniffles around the house! It does it all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm all for softness when it comes to the derriere, but if it isn't strong, then it isn't doing it's job. Both is a bonus! When I use this brand, I feel like I am getting thickness and that the job is getting done without being scratchy.

Too thick to fit out built-in holders. This might be a great option for some people, and like Member's Mark, Member's Mark rolls are slightly thinner but wider, which is not an issue for our house built in 1972. OMG, we still have the tile protrustions above the sink with holes for toothbrushes. I'll have to think of something clever to do with those!

But, I recently bought a different well-known brand assuming it would work just as well. Turns out I was very mistaken! I missed the softness and durability of Quilted Northern. This just confirmed what I always knew about your product! I have been around a long time and should have trusted my experience with Northern Tissue. It very soft and strong, just as described. It also works well cleaning up around the house. Multi purpose usage is the best and I am now a Quilted Northern user for good!!

I have been a loyal customer of Northern for at least 25 years, but no more! Over the years, I have seen the rolls get narrower, and the paper get "fluffier" on the roll, but there is far less paper on the roll. I was changing the roll daily for two people, when I realized that something was really wrong with this situation. I have changed to another brand, and I could not be happier. Northern insults our intelligence if they think we don't realize how they manipulate the amount of paper on the rolls, even as the prices go up.
