The ability to use the app to control it is neat and to also get alarms if the door stays open too long. A common occurrence with kids. The freezer is small due to the mid shelf section. You lose freezer space but you gain flexibility with the midshelf and being able to customize the temperature.

There are 4 different types of ice cubes. There is so a large cheese drawer, which we love. There is a spot for a gallon of milk on the door that is super handy. would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a new refrigerator. The installers were also great with the install.

We had to use a separate refrigerator in the garage just to get ice so I was skeptical about purchasing another Samsung. However, I read all the reviews on my old model and it happened to everyone almost, then I read all the reviews on this new model and everyone seemed to really like them so I took a gamble and it definitely paid off. The new Samsung refrigerator we got is sleek in design and spacious with room. It’s counter depth but it still has plenty of room. The freezer is a little smaller with the two drawers instead of one and the double ice maker in the upper drawer but having an additional refrigerator in the garage helps with that. I don’t think any fridge for a family if 6 can hold all your freezer needs. The different ice styles is really convenient and having the. Its size ice is great for water bottles and soda bottles. The LED lighting is great. Very bright. The fingerprint resistant stainless shell is a great feather with 3 kids in the house. Any fingerprints that do transfer just wipe right off. No scrubbing with polish to get the doors clean. The bottom drawer does not have a light which would be helpful in certain times of the day. I also like the oversized door shelves. They will hold 2 liters or gallon jugs with ease. I definitely would recommend this refrigerator to friends, family, and consumers. We were nervous about buying one site unseen but we did our homework and are very happy with our purchase. I feel like we got a great product for a great price.

First, the exterior design is very modern and goes perfectly with my kitchen renovation. The fingerprint resistant finish on the exterior is very convenient so it always looks clean. The interior design is space efficient with the edge-to-edge shelving that allows an excellent organization and visibility of all my food in the refrigerator. I love that it has 7 door bins and that one of them is a gallon bin. All the food and liquids look organized and easy to access. You can adjust the height of one of the shelves, and all shelves are spill proof. Another very important feature is the slide in shelf, very convenient to accommodate tall liquids (wine/juice bottles) The open refrigerator sensor is very good for energy saving and conservation of the refrigerator. The four kinds of ice are one of my favorite features. We never think that drinks feel better when the ice size is the right one. "You've made a good drink. It deserves the perfect ice." Regarding the freezer, it has three compartments which is enough for me. I like to freeze only what I need and keep more food fresh. I can organize fruits in the drawer next to the ice, and meats or other foods in the bottom drawer which is more spacious. Overall, the change of refrigerator for my home has been a significant improvement. I have had many compliments on how modern and cleverly designed it looks from all the people who come to my house and have really admired the new way to receive their drinks with the different sizes of ice. I am very pleased with the purchase and recommend it from every point of view.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's no doubt that counter depth refrigerators are all the rage these days. Rightfully so since they look sleeker and don't stick out too far. Unfortunately that means that you loose some storage space....usually. Enter this new refrigerator. This is by far the biggest cu ft refrigerator in counter depth size. No longer needing to buy sparingly to save space in the fridge. All that and Samsung still didn't let us down with all the extra features. Things like the chime to let us know if the door was left open by one of the kids, or ability to be added to the Samsung Smart Things app. With the other home appliances it's our one stop to keep up on things that keep our home running. It alerts us just the same about door being open or when the filter needs to be changed out. It's such a nice convenience knowing everything is in my palm instead of having to remember it. My personal favorite thing is the different types of ice and of course the "ice bites." During the hot summers of Texas they're a life saver. Overall we're delighted with the refrigerator and happy with our purchase!

My favorite feature is how one of the shelves as a panel that you can slide back, giving more height to the shelf directly below it so I can actually store my extra large/tall bottle of wine in the refrigerator. I am a regular wine drinker and absolutely love that I can just have a cold bottle in the refrigerator all the time. Another feature that my kids love are the 4 different types of ice! Small cubes, large cubes, crushed Ice, and curved ice, my kids love them all! The one thing I was concerned with at first was the freezer area looked small. But it turns out, having two separate freezer drawers makes it easier for organization and much easier to take food in and out of it without having to dig through piles of frozen foods. The stainless steel finish is stunning and seems very resistant to fingerprints and easy to clean water spots. I love the SmartThings app and have all of my compatible appliances synced with it. I am able to control the temperate from my phone and it alerts me if my doors are left open. The app is a great backup if you're too far away to hear the chimes from the refrigerator after being left open for more than 2 minutes. Overall very very satisfied with unit as it is full features and was easy to set up. Thank you!

I love how much space I have in this one - I was worried that the double freezer drawers would lessen the amount of space available but I think it actually worked out better for me. My last French door fridge, I had trouble digging around the freezer to reach items at the bottom, but because of the double drawer system I'm able to stack items at a reasonable height and reach everything I need. There's a lot ice options, which will be perfect when I have guests over but when it's just our family, we remove the in-drawer ice function to free up some space - I love how versatile and customizable it is. Nice smart features and love the way the front doesn't leave fingerprints.

WARNING!! The icemaker in these Samsung refrigerators will freeze up and stop working within about a year of owning the fridge. You'll need to either use your warranty or use a hairdryer to defrost the inside of the icemaker every few months. Look it up - it's a known issue. Totally ridiculous.
