When using the timer you can not operate the microwave. Same is true when cooking with the microwave you can not use the timer at the same time. This is a very basic function.

I am able to place my food in the microwave and heat food later from my app. My stove is an older model so I haven't been able to use it to the fullest capabilities. The cooking settings are easy to follow and the interior capacity is quite generous. I really like the fact that it has the internet connection to my phone … easy to keep track of progress.
