Recently lost power for 24 hours, such that we had to throw a bunch of food away. This has happened a few times over the last few years. Every time, we said, "It would be worth getting a generator," but we never did until now. Spent some time researching and landed on this one. Couldn't beat the price. Next time the power is out, we'll be ready.

first one had an erratic idle,,,,second one i had to buy a more expensive one with wheel kit due to unavailability,,now they tell me the generator cover i was promised is no longer given,,,,customer service line is hard to get to live help. gen seems to work ok on trial 1 hour run

My husband and I found ourselves without power for 4 days and this generator was perfect for us! We ran our fridge and freezer and it was quiet enough that I did not feel bad about disturbing my neighbors. It was super simple to start up the first time and every time after. Highly recommend!

We are experiencing PG&E power shut downs and this generator fit the bill. I live in a 5th wheel RV so the power requirements are just right. The first time I started the generator it started on the second pull. Very quiet as well. I would recommend this generator to anyone interested.

I have not yet had to run this item in full function for any length of time as I just purchased it. It proved from a short run that it matched and even surpassed a very good generator that I have used without fault since 2013. That should speak for itself.

I purchased this generator for our little camper, it checked all the boxes as far as power requirements, plug adapters, run time and portability. The price point was perfect and it will be a great backup if ever needed at home or for work. Draw backs are few, but wish it had an electric start and ran more quiet, but we understand that it is a generator and makes noise.

I live in Houston Texas. I'm a dependent on home oxygen therapy 24/7. We had a winter storm with temperatures reaching a record low in the teens with snow. 1 million people where without power. I had hook up my average refrigerator a oxygen concentrator machine a bipap ventilator two small space heaters one lamp two charging iPads and two cell phones all at the same time. It held up pretty good.

Bought this as a backup power source for the house for low demand (it's not wired for 240V output on a single connector). Right out of the box added oil and gas, and then started on the first pull. The choke must be turned off quickly after starting--or it will run a bit rich and smoky. Put out 124VAC, and output seemed to work ok into a space heater, and 120V 20A breaker tested good.

I did a lot of research on most reliable generators and came up with westinghouse which has a really good reputation... we bought this to use when we go camping at race tracks in the summer... haven't got to use it yet but looking forward to making our family mobile soon
