Dimensions: 14" X 8" X 7.5"

I have a 13 gallon version of this item in my kitchen. With only my husband and myself, we never fill that on a weekly basis. However, the odor from food scraps, meat wrappers, etc. will become offensive in 5 to 7 days. I needed something small that these items could be discarded in and removed in the 5 to 7 day time period without sacrificing a large trash bag that would only be half full. This item fit the bill perfectly! It works great and you can use 2 handle store bags in it if you want. I must bring one deficiency in the item description to your attention, that is the missing dimensions of the item. I took the chance that it would be the size I was looking for and, fortunately, it was. But for everyone else who would pass on this item because there are no dimensions listed, here they are: 14 inches tall 9 inches wide 7.5 inches deep (front to back) I highly recommend this small trash can and absolutely would purchase it again.

I love love love these. My dog eats everything, he was a goat in another life. We needed trash cans with lids for bathrooms to keep him out, and these are perfect!! I've had mine a long time and have had zero issues with them. I bought 4 of them.

Won't close

I have had many full size trashcans like this & all purchased at Sam's. These are cute but don't close automatically and I have to push the lid down all the way. Both trashcans function like this and I would not recommend this size for that reason.
