The root beer float shake is the best flavor, in my opinion, that Premiere Protein has introduced! Please, please, please make this one of the regular flavors always...lift the limited-edition label, this flavor is too good to be temporary!!!!! #PREMIERPROTEIN

Tastes like Root Beer enough. The main complaint is there are clumps, I shake the bottle, then open and shake it again like crazy. Have started to put in the blender to mix, and it's better. I probably won't buy it again. I get these for when Im on the go.

I struggle to get alot of protein to keep me energize to workout. I bought this yesterday cause I never heard of a protein shake that has a root beer flavor and when i tried this out today, I absolutely loved it!! Its so creamy and dosent taste odd at all. Very sad its limited edition though :( I hope yall will bring this back one day!!!

I am in the process of losing weight with diet and exercise - already down 40+ pounds - and Premier Protein shakes while not an every day part of my diet are great a few times a week when I am busy at work or traveling and can't get a good meal in. The root beer float has been my favorite flavor so far though I must admit - it needs to be cold. I read reviews that almost scared me off, but only drinking them cold has been great. Not sure how they taste room temperature but I'm not sure I would want a frosty tasting drink room temp. I find them to have less of a protein shake aftertaste or that thick, coated feeling in your mouth than other flavors. Anyway, give them a try and when you do make sure they're cold. And Premier Protein, please make this a permanent flavor. It's too good.

Since I am lactose intolerant, I don't use these shakes very often. HOWEVER, this flavor is so very worth it! It is absolutely the best tasting protein shake I have ever tasted! This is absolutely worth taking lactase supplements for. Please make it available all the time!

I love this flavor so much. Actually one of my favorites! Please please please keep this as a flavor forever! It's one of my favorites and I just bought 10 of them! I have been trying to lose weight without drinking root beer soda. This is a great substitute to satisfy the craving and a good amount of protein.

I love this flavor! It tastes just like a root beer float without all the bad. I gave up drinking sodas 4 years ago and still miss the flavors. Premier protein root beer float flavor allows me to remember and taste the flavors that I love. The best part is it has only one gram of sugar and 30 g of protein! If I had a negative, it would be that it's a limited edition. I really hope that this will become a staple drink.

The root-beer float is now one of my favorite flavors! I can't imagine it going away. It's is a great mix between cool, creamy and a hint of that sweet root-beer to bring it all together. I feel like this is flavor makes the drink feel lighter and not as heavy in my stomach.

I recently went through Bariatric Surgery and was tired of the basic vanilla/chocolate flavors. This shake tastes just like a melted root beer float, especially when frozen or on ice. So good! Stocked up incase they discontinue :) Side note - when I was on the pre-op diet and was using these shakes as a meal replacement I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks and wasn't really hungry at all!

For a few years we have been drinking the Premier protein drinks and loving them. The root beer float is my personal favorite. This time when I opened the caps there was a thick congealed layer at the rim. It was on the liquid line, and on the cap. I shook the bottles vigorously but the thickened portion was still evident as I drank the bottles. This thankfully has not happened in any other flavor. My coworker has taken to straining her rootbeer float flavor through a tea strainer to remove the lumps. My bottles do not expire until next year, so freshness is not an issue.
