I bake lots of artisan bread, pizzas and sourdough bread. For a few years I had been ordering my flour in fifty pound bags at a cost of $50.00 a bag plus shipping. A professional baker, on You Tube, suggested that most people were spending way to much for All Purpose Baking Flour. He went on to say he purchased fifty pounds of flour for $14.00. After doing a web search, I located where he was purchasing his flour, the only problem, it would cost me another $50.00 for shipping. That wasn't much of a bargain for me. Then I found Peter Pan All Purpose Flour at Sam's Club, at the price of $8.23 for a 25 pound bag. That was a huge bargain,,,$16.46 for fifty pounds of flour, plus no shipping charges, since Sam's Club keeps it in stock. I can tell no difference in the quality, the performance or the taste of Peter Pan Flour and the more expensive flour I had been using. If you are on a tight budget, I suggest you give Peter Pan Flour a try, I think it is a great flour. I found a study on the net that had the same good results I have had when baking with Peter Pan Flour.
