Would make a great gift for a reader. I enjoyed putting it together. The instructions were easy to follow.

This lamp was very easy to take out of its packaging, easy to gather up all the parts, and was very easy to assemble. Easy to put a light bulb in and shines nice and bright. Very easy to turn on and off. Long cord which is nice as some of my outlets are spaced so I can plug it in but still place it in the desired spot of my home. Sleek clean looking modern design and very high quality and luxurious looking. I would recommend this lamp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Holden 70" Floor Lamp, Matte White, In-Line On/Off Foot Switch is a very nice floor lamp for the price. Does not use a lamp shade so not much for a decor item. My husband loves to do puzzles so this is great for him to see the puzzle pieces.Only takes a 60 watt bulb but that is plenty for what we use it for. The only thing is I wish the foot pedal to turn it on and off was closer to the lamp or a switch on the lamp. The pedal is closer to the end by the plug so if you put lamp behind sofa for reading you can’t reach on and off switch.

It was easy to put together, except there was one part that I could not get together all the way without using a wrench. I like the button to step on to turn it on and off. It brightens up the room a lot because there is no shade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice piece by Globe Electric. This Holden lamp is sleek, stylish, and perfect for the minimalist. I like the straightforward, unadorned look. I have the matte white. It’s stands out perfectly in my dark-ish living room, a great statement piece. From start to finish, this was assembled in less than 10 minutes. All the pieces connected easily, and the cord threaded without difficulty. At 70”, it’s a tall standing lamp with a base that sits evenly on the floor, and is stable. It has provided much needed light higher in the room, much more elevated, which was needed. It’s perfect for when I want to read, write, or just relax. It is a plug in lamp with a foot switch. I find the foot on/off switch super convenient. This piece has one bulb socket. Maximum bulb wattage is 60, and recommended lightbulb shape is G30. The lamp does not come with a bulb. The lamp is made well, is durable, and can easily be moved from room to room if you should want to do so. From aesthetics to functionality, I am quite happy with this.

Cheap construction - the screw in sections are awkward and with the best care, don't fit well. The light is very strange - all in all, a disappointing purchase.

Is a sturdy nice vintage retro lamp only downside is that when put together the lines don't mate up as nice as they should in my opinion but for the price i suppose that is expected it works and is a nice retro look !
