I am very happy because it is working for my purpose, emergency power. If it was not because of this battery all the tings on the refrigerator cud be lost.

But the Texas heat and WV cold zapped all of the liquid and I spent about 1 hour filling them up with 4 gallons of distilled water 2 gallons per battery at a cost of about $6 .”7.00 USD plus tax at WalMart. If you are looking for a good 12 v that doesn’t need 11-1400 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps). Then get on of the Duracell 12V deep cycle batteries and place a battery maintainer on them on low voltage 3-6amp trickle charge. Because weather affects batteries. Unlike the other fellow above, I have not been so unlucky with Duracell or so lucky with the bunny. Good luck everyone. The only negative is I lost my industrial Shumaker Charger to a bad battery overheating it. I didn’t check the water level and that’s one. I wish Duracell made a good battery multi battery trickle charger/maintainer and a charger like my Shumaker. I am installing solar and a Duracell backed battery bank of deep cycle batteries.

If you are looking for batteries for deep cycle uses like solar, RV house batteries, boat house batteries. Starting applications only, other wise their life will be short.

I bought one of these in July 2013 for my boat and a cell went bad in December 2015. During that time, I kept the battery fully charged. The electrolyte level is still full.

Bought in early 2017. Got it home, discovered it was manufactured 2 years ago! OK, not a problem if it charges up well. It didn't. Only charges up to 12.9V. My other solar storage batteries charge up to around 13.3 - 13.4V. After less than a year of light duty and gentle charging, it now charges to 12.85V. Also, 185Ah seems low for such a huge battery. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Bought a Duracell 8D battery from Sams for standby generator starting to replace another brand 1 that lasted about 7 yrs. After about 2 years in controlled environment when needed it to start, it krapped out! Went to store to find out about replacement terms beyond the 1 yr free replacement, to find that there was none. Verry disappointed quality for Sams club 33 year member. Hope to hear back from a sams rep to do what is right and fix this issue as they are now about $50 higher than when bought this one.

Bought 4D Duracell battery 3 years ago to use sparingly in old dozer, it is now dead but companion Energizer 4D that is 10 years old still works, also duracell flashlight batteries that are guaranteed to be good for 10 yrs are leaking after 5yrs in storage. I'm through with Duracell

Purchased this battery 24months ago for our camper whic we only use part time. case started leaking about six months ago and just got worse. fill with distiled water and watch it drip out the side. Not bad for a battery that cost $200
