A bit pricey but far better than whatever else I have been drinking

Based on the price I assumed this would be a decent table wine for dinner. Wow, I was wrong. A decent Cabernet Sauvignon should have at least some amount of body all the way to being a full-bodied red. Well, if a good one is full bodied, then this is the 98-pound weakling of the world of cabernet sauvignons. The color is fairly dark but not quite inky, and the flavor was just somewhat bland. This is what I would describe as having a communion wine quality. There just isn't much to it that begs to be described. There were none of the flavors that people talk about, from notes of different fruits to tobacco to wood to spices. If you're looking to pay 3 times what you should for a wine and like one with no descernible characteristics then this is the wine for you. It's neither dry nor particularly sweet. It's just boring.
