I recently tried Buchanan's Special Reserve Aged 18 years Blended Scotch Whisky and was impressed by its overall quality. The color is a rich golden amber , which already gives a premium feel before tasting. On the palate, it's smooth and well balanced, with notes of dried fruit , oak , and a hint of sweetness that makes it a great option for gifting as well. The effect are warming and enjoyable, perfect for relaxing evening or special occasions. Overall, it delivers a refined and satisfying whisky experience

One of my favorites for a great price

Always a good scotch (IMO), especially for the price at Sam's club (usually $70-80+ tax elsewhere)

Not worth it, not smooth

Too harsh, does not taste like an 18 yr old whisky should, not smooth

Wife gave me a glass, I said "You don't love me!"

Macallan 12 is great. I thought the 18-year Buchanan's would be even better. Wow! I mean wow! Maybe the most wrong I have ever been, I was "wrongest". After finally getting it open my first taste was of pesticide, deteriorating chemicals and something drained from a dead body (I would imagine). It is the worst thing I have ever drank. Jägermeister is the essence of life compared to this. MD 20/20 is fine wine. I've never pee'd straight up into the air and caught it in my mouth but I'm betting its better.
