We haven’t really put the A/C through its paces yet. But, I wanted to write a positive review about the customer service. When I installed the Windmill (6000) in a small bedroom window, the first night it was really loud. In contrast we have the Midea U shaped A/C in our front window. That is really quiet and I love that A/C but it was a hair too wide for the bedroom window screen frame. So, I opted for the Windmill which just fits. So, yes, 1st night. Loud. Like an airplane turbine winding up. I emailed them the next morning saying I wanted to return it (I planned to replace with a Midea and I would just force the Midea into the frame). They emailed me back so fast. I sent them a video of the A/C operating. Within a day and a half we had a replacement shipped by a local delivery company. It was MUCH quieter than the first one. And, so far it works great. -I like in the bedroom that the air blows upwards. I have a fan clipped next to it if I want to blow it my way. -So far gets the room cool fast. Though it hasn’t really been challenged by a heat wave yet. -I like the app function saying how much power you used. -There’s a couple tweaks in the app I wish could change. I would like to know when/if the A/C is running. I want more control for when I’m sleeping. It’s not clear cut as far as scheduling. Basically, I want the A/C to turn on when the room goes above a certain temperature (when I’m sleeping) and turn off when it reaches that set point. And, I want a daytime setting (I’m not in the bedroom and it doesn’t need to run at the same temperature parameter). It’s been weirdly difficult to get it working this preference. Maybe I’m just not understanding. But, the scheduling part feels clunky or not fleshed out in a way I would like to use it. We’re not typical A/C users. We prefer it not running. Eco mode is annoying because it fires up the fan intermittently. If I set it to “cool mode”, it just runs and I don’t want that. I only want it to run/turn off minimally in a way where I don’t lose sleep because it’s too hot. Which, unfortunately due to climate change, there are more and more of those nights in the summer.

We purchased 2 Windmill AC units, and they have worked great. Quite and keeping our apartment perfectly comfortable. Operating and monitoring from my phone is a no turning back advantage to smart devices, and everything about these machines has delivered as promised. Easiest installation ever, and clearly designed well.

I like the whisper 10k enough that I bought 2 units in 2 consecutive years. Great design and performance. Cooling is quiet and strong. Love remote. Only complaint is the temp showing in the room is not the actual temp on digital readout about 15-20 % of the time. I rely on thermometer in my room(s). -Not fond of AI tech support. Prefer real person all the time in email communique.

Love the Windmill so far. Sure it's stylish and modern looking, but the 'inner workings' of the machine is the best part. Super quiet, efficient, and the upward angle of the air really helps the room get quieter sooner. We have our unit in our kids' room and it's great to turn it on before they go to bed, and use the remote to turn it off when WE go to bed as the temperatures are getting cooler outside and we don't waste any unnecessary energy.

In the Bay Area, we didn’t use to need air conditioning, but in the last 5-6 years, the summers have gotten hotter. I cannot afford to install a house wide air conditioner, so I got a window unit to just keep my bedroom cool. It didn’t do a great job, but it was okay. Then I saw an ad for Windmill and thought I would try it. It has made all the difference in the world. I didn’t care if it was quieter, I just wanted it to cool my bedroom more efficiently. It is everything I have needed. Thank you for such a great appliance!

I didn't expect much when I sent the video of my AC unit malfunctioning, but Maggie sent my issue off for resolution. Within 24 hours I received a response and my unit was replaced and shipped to me. I did not expect that this would be resolved this quickly and efficiently. I appreciate the friendly customer service that was provided.

I have never had an air conditioner delivered so well in my life! The packaging was superb. Like no other I have seen. The easiest install of an air conditioner ever! It cools so well! I can even adjust the settings through my app! If you’re on the fence about this, take my advice and buy one now!

The air conditioner started to have it's own personality within the first month. Temperature would go up and down, turn off and make noises. I emailed the company and the issue was resolved within a few days. They impressed me to say the least as most companies do not back their product up. Thank you very much.

I really like how quiet it is. There is no more sound than like having a fan in the window. It was really easy to install and would recommend windmill to everyone. I don't have central air just window units I will be purchasing another one in the near future.

I purchased a Windmill air-conditioner a year ago and it stopped working. I contacted them and they replaced the unit free of charge and in a timely manner once I was able to provide them with all of the back up documents. I now have the new unit installed and it is sleek and quiet.
