Purchased the 8000 btu unit for my grand kids to use in there tiny home here in Arizona. He was Able to install and have running in matter on an hour. Was telling me had temp inside down to 66F very quickly. Much cooler than needed but very capable even in our extreme heat. So very happy with the purchase.

I purchased the 6,000 BTU unit and this is so far one of the best A/C I’ve had. It was easy to instal, it looks nice, it’s not so loud (I’d say it’s relatively quiet) and you can adjust the mode from the app. One thing I like is when the unit turns off after reaching temperature, when it turns back on it doesn’t sound so loud. Another thing that is nice is it doesn’t beep when you click the buttons on the remote and the led lights on the unit turn off which is nice at nighttime. One thing I would've like to see though is the remote having led lights on it because that would be easier to see at night. The unit does cool down the room to the point where it’s off most of the time. Very nice A/C though.

I live in NY, and I've been through so many different version of window ac units. When smart ones came out, I was elated. But they were always lacking. Their app was clunky, their design not great, and it was a super loud machine. Windmill is literally the best AC unit I've had.

We loved our Windmill from the second we took it out of the box. Instructions were simple and clear. Installation was quick. We got the unit for the window of a shed that we’re using as a little homeschool room. I don’t need the space cooled 24/7, but I wasn’t sure how the unit would do with intermittent use. It’s been perfect. We turn it on when we go out there and the room is cool in a short amount of time—during a hot Texas summer. BEST PART: The unit stopped working. I tried everything. I reached out to customer service. They walked me through some steps. When we couldn’t get it working again, because it was still under the year warranty, they sent me a replacement. I’m floored that Windmill backs up the quality of their product this way. Next time I need an AC unit like this, Windmill is the brand I buy.

I could not be happier with the windmill product. The aesthetic most importantly and smooth look was of particular importance being that I have never had an air conditioner that was not an eye sore. I was worried that because the windmill was so sleek that it would not be as powerful and effective and I could not have been more wrong! Not only does it work super effectively being able to control it from my phone is so convenient. The windmill is also extremely quiet which provides an additional level of being that best ac unit ever! I am not the most tech savvy person and I have found the product to be super easy to use and understand the mechanics of. The customer service team was also extremely helpful with any questions I had. I will be recommending the windmill to everyone I know to keep cool this summer!!!

This is a rare company in today's business world. I had a minor problem with one of the units I purchased from Windmill. Contacted customer service (on the weekend I might add ) and got an immediate response. After some trouble shooting they immediately sent out a replacement unit. Bought 2 initially and they look great and get very cold. But the thing I can't stress enough is the outstanding customer service. I really needed a window air conditioner but to be honest, I hated the way the majority of them looked. This air conditioner wasn’t just super easy to install but it looks great. I was a little worried about if it would fit at first but sure enough it did. The machine itself is super quiet. I’m probably going to end up buying another one soon. 10/10

It’s difficult to express how beyond satisfied I am with this purchase. The windmill AC looks incredibly sleek and was -as expressed on the modern packaging- “a breeze to install”. Starts up quick and gets a room cool FAST! It’s hilarious to my when my guests give compliments about the design of my air conditioner, but they’re well deserved. Additionally the mobile app is everything you need with nothing you don’t; great UX all around. My roommate promptly bought one for his bedroom after seeing mine and i’m currently trying to rationalize the cost of purchasing a third for my home office. Windmill is on to something!

Great AC. My second windmill. 1st was 8000 btu. The air blows out at 47 degrees! Wow it is cold and extremely easy to install. Ready right out of the box with everything you need to seal up window and cover gaps —Eve has the scissors you’ll need. My 2nd windmill is the 12000 btu. It’s just as cold. When I plugged it in and turned it on, I thought it was broken. I checked the surge suppressor and plug outlet but nothing changed I thought…. The room began to get cool and I realized —-It was running!!! It’s the quietest AC I have ever seen or imagined! At least 9 x quieter as advertised. It’s almost silent!!! Great Job Windmill!!!!

I've owned a lot of different window air conditioners in my life, and Windmill's is by far the best. It's significantly quieter than any other unit I've ever used, looks great, and most importantly is incredibly effective at cooling our apartment (we have the 10k BTU model and our apartment is about 850 sq. ft). I also really appreciate that the air is vented vertically; I really feel like it allows for better circulation of the cool air. Lastly, the app is great; clean, simple, easy to use. Love our Windmill, would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a new window AC.
