Amazing little ACs. Pretty in my apartment and being able to turn them on from anywhere with my phone really helps! I travel a lot so being able to cool my apartment down from the airport so it’s nice when I get home is a game changer! I have one in every room!

We bought a unit for our daughter’s new apartment. Love love the modern look! The temperature is exactly what we were expecting and installation was very easy, the panels completed the slick look. We want to buy a second unit. Don’t think about it buy one.

Everything about this company and the product I purchased is excellent! I love the sleek design of the air conditioner, its straightforward operation, its quietness. It was, as promised, easy to install, though I had to get someone stronger than I to lift it — but then, I’m 75. Even the packaging was thoughtful designed: a box that slips off so you don’t have to lift the unit out of a box. I had a series of interactions with Customer Service and they were consistently helpful, responsive, pleasant to deal with, and very accommodating.

Overall very good. Looks great, easy install and amazing customer service. The noise is not as quiet as I had hoped and is actually quieter when you have the fan set to 2 rather than 1. My much larger LG dual inverter that cools my downstairs is quieter but doesn't look as night and doesn't have a way to turn of the LED lights so for the bedroom this is pretty good.

This was my first time ordering a windmill and overall, the experience has been great. My old Frigidaire 8000 btu was on its last legs due to its age and very low levels of refrigerant. I initially ordered a windmill 8k unit without whispertech and it arrived within a few days without issue. After using it for a few days, it was definitely an improvement over the old one but still felt like it would need to run 24/7 to effectively cool my work studio, which was 280 sq/ft but with 12 foot ceilings. I’m on the the top floor of an industrial building with little to no insulation, hot air gets trapped for days when it is very hot and humid outside. I opted to see if I could exchange the 8k btu unit for the 10k one. I emailed Windmill on a Saturday and they arranged for a private carrier to come on that Monday and take the current unit while delivering the new 10k unit. All I had to do was pay the difference between the two models. The new 10k unit was delivered on Monday at 5:30 and it could not have gone any smoother. The new AC has been running for the last 10 days without a hitch and more importantly, my space is very cool and comfortable. Setup was a breeze, even the way the packaging was designed, the box comes right off after cutting the plastic tie down cables. This model definitely cools the space down much quicker and I have set up automations to turn off a few hours after l leave and turn on a few hours before I arrive each morning so my space is nice and cool. These units are very well designed and built. And yes, they are definitely the quietest units I have ever owned. On the low fan setting which is what I normally have it set on, you can barely tell it’s on at all. Even on medium fan, it’s still much quieter than other big brand ACs. The whisper tech units are legit! Highly recommended if you are looking for a new ac experience.

Wonderful! I love its stylish, clean lines and installation was a breeze! It cools the room so silently that I can't always tell if it's on. It also cools quickly and without a disturbing air flow; more a gentle movements into the room that is not at all disruptive. I love this air conditioner.

I have to say that I do not write many reviews, but I do have to give credit this company for an excellent product they produce. The AC was one of easiest to install. Also, the size was perfect for our room and works whether through WiFi or manual. The ac blows cold and maintains room temp extremely well.

The upward direction that the air blows is perfect! My desk is right by the side of the unit---I'm very comfortable sitting next to it all day and all the papers on my desk stay put! It is also so quiet that I've had to check to see if it is on a few times. I had help with installation but it was a breeze. I love all the options the for changing the temperature, too. The 6000 BTU model is more than enough to cool my entire living room (250 sq ft with 12 foot ceilings)

Just received my air conditioner. It's actually the 1st AC unit I've ever owned, I've tried to stay away from air conditioning but it's just been too hot these days. So when I did research I wanted to find something that was quiet and had a nice look kind of unair conditioning looking if that makes sense. Even from when you receive it and see the packaging you know it's very different. I love it and I really love that I have it connected to my Alexa or I could use their app the app to turn it on or off at any time. Or set it up so that it will turn on automatically if it's a specific temperature in the room. It does say in the directions that you need 2 people to install it, so I ended up hiring a task rabbit which went very well but I will say after watching him him install it I think I probably could have installed it myself. It took him all of all of maybe 4 minutes to do it. He asked what brand it was because he said this was the easiest to install because of the way the install kit is prebuilt into the unit. He said he's going to buy one for himself!

Received the unit, packaging was secure and slick and install was an absolute breeze. Connecting to the network was easy (side request, would love home assistant integration so that I can build in more automations in my home). Once I turned it on I experienced an annoying rattling noise and a deep vibration that felt like my home was going to shake off the foundation. I went to contact support over the phone/chat and, unfortunately they don't have this option. Contacted support via email instead which I hate because this is normally day to day communication instead of immediate. Wowzers trousers. This customer support team is next level. I received a 4 paragraph email within minutes of my email. It was so fast I thought it was automated. It was so thorough that I am still struggling to comprehend the typing speed of the individual (Skye) that assisted me. The team went back and forth with me for quite a few emails and were unable to fix the issue. No worries! They sent me a new one, no arguing, no questions. Just help and accountability. I literally cannot ask for more from a customer service group. On this alone, Windmill AC is worth it. The product itself is beautiful (we all know that) and the interface is easy. I particularly love that the air is pushed on the sides and top, instead of from the front. This means people nearby don't get blasted with cold air, i.e. you don't have a freezing cold spot right next to the AC which I had with every other window and portable unit I've had/experienced in the past. Love this product, love this team. 100% recommend to all.
