Our AC unit was making a lot of noise. We were asked to answer questions and send a short video of the problem, which we did, and they immediately sent us a new AC unit for free. They even followed up when they didn’t hear back from us initially. Very impressed with this customer service. Hoping the new unit is quiet as advertised, and if it is, we will be loyal Windmill customers!

I haven't bought this yet, but can't wait for it to get here, because it's hot as heck in NYC currently. I like the advertised 'easy install', but the installation video on the product site left me uneasy -- there should be at least two people installing this AC in the AD!

I had a 10,000 btu unit that developed a startling rattle due to the compressor being too close to something metal and all it took was a few simple emails w/ a video and photos attached and they handled it from there.The new unit itself is aesthetically pleasing and is quiet to say the least. If you're used to the hum of a standard window A/C, this thing will make you wonder if it's even on. I worked with Mike, Lisbeth and Francesca - all of them were very receptive to my situation and quick to reply with help. Thank you team for all you did in making this new customer very happy.

After long hours and sleepless nights of doing research, we decided to try the windmill AC with whisper Tech. Suddenly, our sleepless nights ended! These things are so quiet when set on low cool you would think that you're listening to a gentle rain on your roof. We really appreciate the fact that this machine works exactly as described, so much so that we bought a second one for another room in our house! The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. Cleaning the filter is a breeze compared to other machines we've had in the past. One of the extremely pleasant surprises, was the customer service. Their first machine we bought came from an authorized third party. We can't be certain but we think the machine may have been mish-handled and shipping. However, the support team at Windmill stepped up to the challenge. We had a new machine working perfectly in no time at all! Don't let our review convince you. Really love the Windmill air conditioners. This is my third. Easy to install and very efficient. One complaint with this one....the two I bought last year came with a cover to cover it in the winter months. I don't know why but the one purchased this year did not come with that.

I've owned a number of Windmill ACs over the years... love their brand, app experience, and ease of install, but had always been bummed they didn't make a much smaller size 5000 BTU unit for a small room in my house. Now they have... and I couldn't be happier! It's compact yet powerful, and cools that room perfectly. Connects to the same Windmill Air app too. Definitely recommend.

I love my new Windmill AC. It cools my living room quickly and quietly but without that artificial iciness that most ACs put out. The air feels natural. The design is modern and low-profile and isn't an eyesore like traditional ACs. Since hotter summers are our new normal, I'm glad to have some relief to come home to!

I bought the 12,000 BTU unit when one of my central units was hit by lightening. I already had purchased two of the windmill fans and loved the style and quality so the AC was a quick decision. After almost a year the AC unit began making a loud noise when the compressor kicked on. I notified customer service fearing I wouldn’t get a response or any help but they surprised me. They replaced my unit after I sent a video of the noise my unit was making.

12k unit has had no issues cooling my entire apartment with the support of fans. The app has functioned flawlessly and the installation was a breeze. It took roughly 16hr to reach the furthest points away from the unit but 71-74 ° F has been maintained in 80-95 ° F outside temps. Thanks for ending this Michigan heat wave, maybe I don’t need central Air after all! WeOne star less only because the packaging was obviously an AC unit that could be spotted from a distance away.
