I renew every year with the gift card

This is a Plus membership card. Question asked on Sam's Club website if this could be used for a renewal. Answer was yes. I went inside my club today with this card to renew & I was declined! When I got home I got on the Sam's chat line and rep there said gift cards cannot be used for membership. Explained again - not a gift card - membership plus card. She informed me I was out of luck - call or email someone and she disconnected. I am a longtime Sam's Club member, but maybe no more. Not only does this say nonrefundable, but I was even charged SALES Tax.

Ordered this for a Christmas gift. Weeks upon weeks went by saying that the delivery was delayed. Then never came by Christmas. In fact, the order was canceled without my knowledge.
