I am stupid because I flew from Florida up to Michigan and back in March 2020. I went to stay with my 97 year old father, a trip I had planned for six months. Going there for a visit wasn't as scary as the return trip home. I thought there was more risk of exposure on the return trip home because the virus was expanding exponentially. I have severe Asthma and have worn a mask on planes for the last ten years. It is not unusual for me to get a respiratory infection after flying. I was given a sample of Qunol Liquid Tumeric and thought that I should purchase it to reduce inflammation in my lungs, the weakest part of my body. When I returned home I started taking it. About a week and a half ago I had a low grade temperature, 96.4 which the news explained happened to people before they started having symptoms of the virus. Within several days my temperature went up to 99.6. That's not really considered a fever. I started becoming more phlemish, achy and lethargic. These symptoms were relatively mild compared to how I usually felt when I was getting sick. I felt differently than other times I was ill. I felt like this time being sick was with a type of muted symptoms which I can only be attributed to taking the Qunol Liquid Tumeric. Could taking this actually have reduced inflammation in my lungs? My Pulmonologist put me on an antibiotic for ten days. My symptoms never got as sever as they usually do. I felt so much better than I usually did when I would get sick. I felt like the anti inflammatory properties prevented more severe inflammation and worse symptoms. I'm buying more!

Purchased Qunol because I was entranced by the doctor who advertises the brand on TV commercials. And did not do my research. Despite 1000mg and the claim of ultra high absorption, the product does not contain a sufficient amount of cur cumin, the real inflammation fighter. Also, the ingredients listing does don't indicate black pepper, which is required for optimum absorption.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have noticed a difference in my pain levels when I stay on this brand of curcumin. I've tried other brands but don't have the same effect. I have some back issues and other arthritic areas that definitely benefit from this supplement. I don't feel the need to take pain medication or any other type of analgesic but I have noticed when I run out that the pain does intensify.

I had surgeries on both feet and have noticed less pain and inflammation in my knees and feet after taking this for about a month. I really noticed the difference about a month after I ran out of this product. So I just started taking it again a few weeks ago, and already feel better.

I find it very effective and worthwhile, as turmeric is not all that much available in USA unless you go to health food store. A bit pricy, however the convenience of taking product is preferable to attempting to mix the powder version of this beneficial herb.
