Last year I started taking Tumeric. I first bought a generic brand, took the whole bottle and didn't notice any difference in my aching joints, back and elbows. Do you use liquefied carbon dioxide to extract the natural components of turmeric, rather than chemicals such as hexane, which can leave a residue.

I take one of the caplets a day. I've noticed a huge difference in the reduction of inflammation and pain in my back, neck, knees, and hips. It doesn't completely get rid of the pain and inflammation but it definitely helps. I'm able to accomplish a little bit more than I used to be able to like being able to put shoes on and tying them.
