Works as advertised, cool room down quickly, blows lots of cold air.

The unit is working quite well. It cools multiple rooms. It was easy and quick to install.

My living room, kitchen and dinning room are basically all the same room. The last machine we had was twice the size and was half as effective. This keeps it too cold for my liking. Wife likes it cold.

So far so good! The slats in the window can be cut to fit vertically or horizontally. I used a hack saw took 2 seconds.

Easy to set up. Runs quietly. Nice size and easy to move. Haven't had it long but pleased with its performance.

Purchased as a back up. Sure enough central ac went out and this bad boy kept our livingroom and kitchen cool so we could sleep till central ac was fixed next day. I keep it on the side of the sofa ready to hook up.

We purchased two of these last summer for our new (to us) house. We'd just moved in and we had quite the heat wave! We weren't ready to invest in mini-splits, and we had a great heating system in place. These Amana air conditioners were proper life-savers. We put one upstairs and one down, intending to do something more permanent later. Well, here we are barreling into another heat wave, and these have far out performed our expectations. Just two of them cool the entire house perfectly. Excellent dehumidifying, and such easy installation into sash windows.

Works great to cool our sunroom which can get a little toasty. I am pleased with my purchase.

This AC unit allows me to install & remove it from my window by myself. No need to ask for help from family.

Seems to cool very well but the built in thermostat is off by at least 10 degrees. If I set it to 76 degrees it only works for a little while then shuts off but room temperature is over 80. I have to set it to 72 but then it never cycles off. I’ve checked the trouble shooting in the manual but there’s nothing on the thermostat. I’ve called customer service and created a service ticket and was told someone would get back to me in 2-3 days. Hopefully it’s an easy fix because it’s out of stock now.
