Purchase for college student apartment. Very sturdy, but one complaint. The box spring arrives folded with the cover partially on. The cover is very thin, so it must be handled with extreme caution  to not rip it. I found it best to remove the cover from the folded box spring, unfold the box spring and then put the cover on the unfolded box spring.

Sturdy Box Spring, Fragile Cover

We couldn't get a traditional box springs up the stairs, it got stuck.  This box springs is not only a split queen, but each piece also folds in half!  How do they do it?  I have no idea!  Genius!  It came in a small-ish box, so I was worried that they had only sent one box springs....I was wrong!  They were both folded up nice and neat inside the box!  My husband and I had to drag them upstairs together, because they were kind of heavy and it took both of us to get them out of the box, but then we very easily assembled them.  You just open them up, and pull on the frame and Voila!  The box springs spring into life!  All we had to do then was run the zipper around the fabric and they were finished.  Probably only took 15 minutes to set up.  And now we have a proper support for our mattress--sleeping on two mattresses was like sleeping on quicksand, everything sank towards the middle!  Would definitely recommend this!

Zinus King Size Foldable Box Sring Mattress 2 pcs

Easy to put together, and sturdy enough to hold both a Zinus mattress and its 6'1” 240 lb owner. I do advise that you check the dimensions of your bed frame against the dimensions of your box spring and mattress ... we wound up with a 6” gap at the foot, but that's on us for not measuring first (oops!)

I like the product. I purchased the 9 inch because i like a tall bed but it maybe too tall for guests. I would recommend the 5-7 inch for a guest bed.

Like this product

Easy to assemble but not needed for the mattress purchased although Sam's suggested it. It makes my bed sit super high; so much so that I need a step stool to get on the bed.

You May Not Need It

I purchased the queen  size.  I was able to carry half 2 sets of long  narrow stairs. Easily undold them . Impossible to do it if  the box spring was not divided and folded.

Excellent  to carry and set up  for a petite woman

I bought two queen folding box springs twice before and I liked him very much. This time I received two smaller box springs that equal the size of a queen and I do  not like them. It was not mentioned that they were going to be two separate box springs that you put together underneath a queen mattress. It causes things to shift around and I don't like this at all!

Not the same as before.

I purchased this about a month ago. I received the mattress and the headboard & foot board attachments. They were great. The problem is that I received a bi-fold box springs instead of a frame. I called Sam's Club twice trying to take care of this. I was referred to their vendor (Zinus) who, by email told me to take a picture of the information on the box. They said that if after they review the information and it was correct that they would send a return shipping label to me. That was two weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. They make me feel like they do not believe that they made a mistake and that I am a liar. Well, I have news for them and for Sam's---I will NEVER order any Zinus product EVER again. I'm having trouble deciding whether to order from Sam's again. VERY UNHAPPY.
