A Must-Have in My Kitchen, Versatile and Flavorful

These are the best ever!  Large, perfect shape and no cuts or bad spots on them.  Very fresh.  Nice onion flavor but not overly sharp or mild.  Good value, great quality and quantity.  Love onions, cook with them daily.

I purchased these for a pickup. Several of the onions were wet and bruised. The onion smell permeated my car on the drive home. 
I think the person selecting the onions should have done a better job.

Half the onions were rotted. Very disappointed. I tend to avoid Sam's onions, but I was desperate and decided to give them one more try, disappointed again.

About 1/2 of the onions were halfway rotted

We love the size of these onions.  We are having to cut out moldy spots and sections due to the onions having been frozen prior to my purchase.  This is a problem even in the heat of summer.  I have purchased my onions from other places, and never have a problem.  When I go back and try these again, we always have bad sections in the onions.  Perhaps these are shipped in with their milk, that comes in frozen.  I have seen it sitting on pallets, in the produce section, while it thaws out.  I worked dairy for Kroger for years.  Milk shelf life is greatly reduced when it has been frozen.  Several gallons of milk went bad on me before I found out what they were doing.  Onions should NEVER be refrigerated.  The starch in them turns to sugar, and starts to rot them.

The whole bag of onions were rotten inside. The outside looked fine but when you cut them open the whole inside was moldy.

I purchase these at least oncw per month.  There is always at least one rotten.  Im beong generous saying one because its usually more and sometimes half the bag.
