I upgraded and researched a lot on tri fuel generators. I ended up going with Westinghouse due effectiveness and reliability.

Works like a champ

Excellent generator so far! I unboxed unit immediately and prepped for operation. I built a 50amp cord to connect to my manual transfer switch. I ran it on propane with no load for about 30 minutes. I then slowly added load until I had my entire house connected. It runs everything in my 3000+ sqft home, including the AC. It bogged down when compressor kicked on, but immediately recovered. I turned on every light (allLED's), tv's, microwave, etc. I also have the refrigerator and a full size freezer. Everything worked perfectly as I ran entire house on generator for 45 mins. I did not try to dry clothes or use the electric oven, but I'm sure they wouldn't be a problem if I'm conscience about using during a storm. I also test ran on natural gas without load and it ran perfectly. I plan on installing a soft start on my AC unit before running on NG with load. I only plan on using gasoline as a last resort, so I'm not going to put any gas in it unless I need to. This will prevent any “gumming” up or fuel issues while in storage.
Also, the hose did not come with everything I needed to connect to NG. I added a quick connect on to my existing NG line on the side of my home. I needed a 1/2” 45deg tapered  male  to 1/2” standard female adapter to complete the hose quick connect.

Using as Whole Home generator.

We had looked at numerous generators over the past few months.  Of the several that we narrowed our list down to, the Westinghouse WGen9500TFc came out the winner.  We like the tri fuel option and the fact that we can run it off of one of our grill propane tanks in case we can't get gas. The unit came with everything needed to get it up and running including engine oil and hoses to connect to propane or natural gas.  The remote start is a plus.  If using this on job sites, this feature can come in handy if working on roofs or up on ladders. You can start and stop the unit as needed without having to climb down.  There are plenty of power choice options - (4) 20 amp (1) 30 amp and (1) 50 amp outlets. The noise level is standard for a generator of this size. The generator also has a display that shows the output voltage, run time and several other useful screens plus any error codes.

A Great Generator For The Price

Purchased a few weeks ago and cannot believe how great a generator buy this was. Installed wheels quickly ,then added oil and used propane to start the unit. It started up very quickly and ran quieter than expected. Next I ran using gasoline and used the remote starter and quick start again. All the accessories ( propane and nat gas hoses) makes this the perfect buy for my home use.Detailed instructions are included.

Super Gen

Excellent generator. Started right up on propane. Let it run and varied the load per instructions. After running the break in l loaded the unit up. 2 1500w heaters, large air compressor, large dehumidifier, 8000 btu room a/c, 30 amp camper with a/c and elec water heater. The gen. never missed a beat and ran great. This is a good investment and will last me many years.

Excellent for peace of mind.

The WGen9500TFC generator started on the second attempt on natural gas and has now been broken in with 5 hours of run time. Still waiting for electrician to hook up a 50 amp box to the house for the real test.

One negative is the generator is very loud, measuring about 95 decibels right next to it and 82 decibels just on the other side of a fence surrounding it using an albeit crude NIOSH decibel iPhone app.

As soon I received I started assembling and given a try to start... Run at first try! Next was to try hooking up to a outdoor 50 amp inlet and see how powerful will be. Run the entire house, including central ac, fridge, lights, tv's, everything in the house.

I would give 5 stars if this generator could be operated in the rain. Where I'm located most power outages occur during stormy weather. 

I believe this unit is well made and will last a long time with proper maintenance

Must operate in dry environment

I just purchased this generator and did all rechecks and ran unit for about 10 min on propane and was good. Then needed it last night so I hooked it up and it ran power to my items for about 5-8 min and then it died. Tried restarting and it backfired several time and that was it. Would not run. Ended up putting a little gas I had, no more available at night and it finally ran but would not run at all on propane so I was stuck with no power. Call CS and all they will do is send me a new regulator to see if it fixes it but it will take about a week. Wow what a joke and the store I bought it from said they can't help per policy. This company should be able to call the store and have them supply the part as they sell that part but the manufacturer said they won't do that. What a joke. I knew I shouldn't have bought a Westinghouse item and never will again.
