I bought this after our last snowfall realizing that I needed an easier way to shovel. There were still areas that I hadn't cleared so I decided to try it out. We had 12 inches so I knew that I would need to clear a few inches at a time. It wasn't too heavy for me to hold as I used it to clear a path. I'm quite happy with the job it did! It will be great to be able to keep up with the snow next time!

Light weight

Nice little snow blower --- it removed about 6 inches of snow on the driveway and sidewalks with no problem. You have to make sure that you don't push it too hard because the electric motor might not be able to handle it. The lighter the snow, the easier it blew it through the chute, which is much like any other blower. I could not find a serial number on the blower anywhere (!) so I registered it with the UPC number. Hope that works.

Lightweight but mighty

My husband is handicapped and so I am on my own. I am a 74 year old female who got this unpacked and put together within 10 minutes.  It was easy as pie.

Easy Peasy

I used my new Westinghouse Snow shovel for the first time about a week ago.  It sure beats shoveling.  This mighty little machine can really throw the snow!    I am really impressed with my new snow removal equipment; it is light weight, and it has a 2-year warranty.  My neighbor heard it running and had to come over to check it out.  I think he is going to buy one.

Snow Shovel

I bought the snowblower to handle the occasional snow we get in Kentucky.  On its first run, I did three drives in about two hours.  Worked like a champ, even in wet snow.

Works Great

Satisfying to work with equipment that does what it is meant to. Though corded equipment can be cumbersome, there's no better way to get the appropriate power to get the job done without. Get yourself some decent extension cords and let the snowblower do its job. Sometimes it calls for some more heavy duty equipment, other times it calls for this. Great job Westinghouse!

Great Snowblower!

Only one use so far, but I'm pleasantly surprised at the powerful sturdiness and maneuverability of an otherwise lightweight machine. The solid base and auger powered through even packed snow on my driveway down to the surface without much added top pressure from me. I used it on blacktop, cement, and even wooden deck material on our handicap ramp, all with excellent results. The 4 inches of snow I removed was blown at least 15 feet away while being lifted up at least 3 to 4 feet for good front clearance. I only wish a hook could be added somehow, possibly clamped to the base of the handle for wrapping up and storing the 25-foot extension cord I used.

Powerful Handling

We needed a snow blower to clear snow from the area around our miniature donkey shed and waterer.  We did not want to carry gasoline or worry about charging batteries.  So this corded snow blower fit the bill.  The assembly was a bit more than I expected but there were no problems getting it together.  We have not had any large amounts of snow yet so we will have to see how it does when that happens.

Light Weight-Just What We Need

Some minor gripes: I have not been able to find the serial number on the snow blower. The only thing that looks like a serial number is on the box. Your online documentation showing the serial number location does not apply to the corded electric models!
I was able to assemble the blower from the included instructions, with one exception. I have no idea how to use the power cord clamp. The only illustration in the documentation is inscrutable. Is there, by chance, better documentation available online?
No snow yet, so have not been able to test the product in its intended use...

Assembling the snow blower out of the box

As a middle aged petite woman I have found this easy to use in snow and much easier on my body than shoveling which was the goal. I have a large driveway that must be cleared and it was fast and fun!  Worked well in up to 6 inches of snow my first use. 

When assembling be sure to place the middle frame with the holes on the left opposite the side with the cords as this was not clear in the instructions.

Awful product. Within 5 minutes of using this, I already had a pin fall in the snow and I was unable to find it. Because that, the handle didn't work and will be returning it ASAP. Don't buy!
