Originally I purchased this for my daughter we had the older version of it previously and it just stopped working we had it for some years though this was an upgrade to what we previously had.  We didn't have a problem with it before my daughter genuinely enjoyed it and was happy with the new updated version. The only thing I didn't like was that didn't know I had to get a converter box to connect her VCR combo other than that  we have no complaints and would purchase this item again.

So far so good. No need to connect my fire stick because all you have to do now is sign into all of your apps that is already setup on the smart tv. However, I disliked how complicated it was for me to go through all of the setting up just for the tv to work.  I have never issues setting up a tv but I guess that's what it takes for a tv smart as this. Other than that. I am enjoying everything else about it.

This is my 4th VIZIO!! I have had to replace the Vizio in my living room since my TWELVE YEAR OLD VIZIO finally stopped working. This VIZIO that I just ordered was to replace the VIZIO in my bedroom that was THIRTEEN YEARS OLD!!
These TVs' have NEVER let me down!

BEST TVS' EVER

i eapecially like the size, 40 inches, and the sleep timer for my bedroom.  I love that Vizio provides many free stations and you can cast easily from a cell phone to the tv.  It provides a great picture and you can easily access You Tube, Prime, and Netflix,etc.

Great Inexpensive 40 inch TV

The feet on this TV do not screw in tightly and they are very wobbly.. The TV will not stand on its own.
I was able to take the feet off of my old TV and use those screws to put the legs on this new TV and they worked perfectly..
The self tapping screws that come with this TV are too big. 
If you're able to use the screws from a TV you're not using. I would suggest you try it.

Wobbly TV

i tried to get this to link to my wifi network and no matter what i did, it wouldn't link to the network even though it was clearly on my wifi. I thought it was my router so i brought the tv next to the router with my Samsung connected next to it. It never connected.

I purchased this TV several months ago, and it sat in my spare bedroom until  last week (2/10/2025). I had a professional to hang it on the wall. Well, I watched the TV for about 2 weeks, went to the bathroom, and came back into the room to find the TV showing half of the picture and the other side  of the TV was not working it was streaks with lines of many colors.  I'm very disappointed!

I have had many smart TVs over the years, and this is the most difficult and frustrating TV I have ever owned. If I hadn't already thrown away the box I'd return it. The setup is ridiculously difficult. I can't watch antenna channels without wifi. If I turn the volume up above 20, the speakers vibrate like there's a bumble bee in a can. It lags big time when changing channels, even with a full wifi signal. The sound is cheap and wonky sounding on any setting. I will never purchase another Vizio.

Just bought this tv today Nov 20, 2024 and connected it with ease. DIRECTLY OUT OF THE BOX IT FREEZES AND MOVES EXTREMELY SLOW TO THE POINT WHERE ITS UNUSABLE!! I will be returning tomorrow for another set to see if I have the same issue and if I do I won't “settle” for an affordable tv with Vizio again.
