About this item

Wake up to a fresh cup of joe with Victor Allen's® Morning Blend (100 single-serve cups) coffee.

Single Serve Cups

Victor Allen's Morning Blend comes in the convenience of single-serve cups that work with Keurig® brewers and other coffee machines with single-serve functions.

How's the Flavor?

Victor Allen's Morning Blend is 100% Arabica coffee with mild, light-roasted flavors and a smooth finish. Arabica coffee, like this breakfast blend coffee, usually offers slightly sweet flavors with hints of nuts, caramel, and chocolate. Some people also notice hints of fruit and berries. The acidity is slight and pleasant, with mild hints of bitterness to round out the palate.

A Light-Roast Coffee

This breakfast blend coffee is a light-roast coffee. Light-roast coffees offer you crisp acidity, bright flavors, and a mellower body. The beans are roasted in a way that preserves their unique characteristics. A light roast typically has fruity and floral aromas and flavors.

What's Arabica Coffee?

Arabica coffee is currently the most popular type of coffee in the world and is sourced from the Coffea arabica plant. The plant originated in southern Ethiopia and produces 60% of the coffee that's consumed worldwide. It's called Arabica coffee because way back in the 7th century, the coffee bean would be transported from Ethiopia to lower Arabia. In fact, the Arabica coffee bean was first written about by Arabian scholars who claimed it helped them work for longer hours.

Growing the Beans

Arabica coffee beans are typically grown at slightly higher elevations (around 1900 feet above sea level), but they do not survive in harsh, cold environments. The bean thrives in humid, subtropical environments with optimal growing temperatures being around 59 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 24 degrees Celsius). Grown on hillsides, the bean grows and matures after seven years. The plant can grow up to 36 feet high but is typically maintained at around six feet to make harvesting easier.
