I have a portable washer that hooks up to my sink. It holds 10-lbs of clothes and has several cycles- but no place for adding softener.  It takes just a small amount of Tide w/fabric softener to make my clothes come out clean and soft and smelling great.

For once I couldn't wait to do laundry, lol. This Tide with Downy is everything I had hoped for. Not only does it get my clothes clean, it also has the softness and fresh scent of Downy. Love that it is 2 in 1 so I don't have to buy my detergeant and fabric softner separately thus saving me money. Highly recommend

Tide plus Downy

I live in an apartment complex and the washer is somewhat far from my place. Instead of making 4 trips to put detergent in, then going back 15 minutes later to put fabric softener in, with this detergent, I only need to make one trip because there is fabric softener in the detergent. It's great! It's like killing two birds with one stone.  Saves me time and money.

Great stuff

I feel in love with this scent of Tide. I have never been a Tide fan but this one I feel in love with. The scent lasts for awhile and you can even smell it when you walk in the room. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will definitely be buying again.

Long lasting scent...

This is my first WM review because that's how good this item is! Gain was my fave, because of the scent. But I noticed my laundry wasn't getting very clean and I could barely smell the Gain scent I love. So I tried this Tide w/Downy and omg. The wonderful scent lasted daaaays and it cleaned better. My new fave. So good.

Smells better than Gain

I'm a dedicated Tide user! It smells sooo good and leaves my clothes smelling fresh whilst getting them clean!! I buy this bcuz of it having Downey it although I still put more in during the rinse cycle with my clothes. I don't put softener in my towels and wash cloths bcuz it causes them to not absorb water as good. This having softener in with the detergent gives my towels/washcloths just enough softness without hindering the ability to absorb the water off my body after a shower.
I said I'm a dedicated Tide user but a couple months ago I had to buy Arm and Hammer which is supposed to be a decent detergent, right! Yeah well when I went back to my Tide the first load I washed the water was absolutely gross. I'm retired so it's not like my clothes get extra dirty from sweat and work. I thought maybe it was just the water itself so I put it through an extra rinse and the water was clear. My next load was the same way. Disgusting water. These were clothes that had been washed previously with Arm and Hammer.  When I washed a load that had been previously washed with Tide the water wasn't as gross. I gathered up everything that had been washed with AandH, clothes, towels. sheets and comforters and rewashed them. Again, the water was gross with each load. I'm assuming that the Tide was getting out everything that the AandH hadn't bcuz the water hasn't been gross since! I cringe to think about the fact that my things weren't getting clean and I had been wearing dirty clothes for about 2 months! YUCK!! Needless to say that I'll never buy another brand other than Tide ever again!

I love Tide!!

I have to say the commercial for tide is really true. One year I was doing laundry at a laundromat and I always left my laundry detergent in the car so I wouldn't forget it. I always bought tide with April fresh downy it's my favorite smell. So through the winter the laundry detergent was always not frozen just a little thicker. Well I forgot to get new laundry detergent so I ran to the supermarket and grabbed Purex it was cheaper than the tide. Plus we always used it prior. The tide commercial always said that the leading brands were made half water half detergent. So when I went to do laundry the following week I couldn't use the purex because it was frozen. My tide never froze from then on I will always by the expensive laundry detergent because it really works and is not full of water.

Liquid Tide with April Fresh Downy

Tide is my favorite brand. I know I can spend less in detergent buying another brand, but in my opinion, TIDE is worth the price. I love the fresh smell on my clothes after I wash them with TIDE

GREAT DETERGENT FOR YOUR CLOTHES

I've always grab for Tide laundry detergent. I have never really compared how clean my clothes get, how nice they smell or how soft they feel.

I'm man enough to admit I use Tide because my mother used Tide. it was the only laundry soap we ever had available.

Just like your mom used.

So I love the smell of the clothes, but I feel other brands clean my clothes better. It used to be my go to, but now it just seems pricey with not as much product and isn't as effective as I'd like. But I still like to use it when I can, so I can't say it's a complete bust!
