This potato peeler works great for my husband and I who both have disabilities affecting the use of our hands. I can easily use it even with my diminished hand strength because the peeler only requires a small amount of strength to push the potatoes onto the plastic prongs and pull it back off when finished. My husband has use of only one hand and can also use the peeler. a small amount of peel is left at each end that can be easily sliced off with a knife. We have peeled large and small, as well as different shapes, of potatoes and it's worked great for all of them.

It is working for now, and like others, I enjoy watching it peels potato. But here is what seems to be another interesting use for it I wonder why it was not part of its marketing. It can create strips of potato and those are more suitable for stir-frying and shorter time air-frying.

this works Fabulous on basic white potatoes. so fast .so efficient. I just have to hand peel the enda and the occasional eye. i tried kn sweet potatoes which have a much higher water content  and typically "feel wet" on the outside skin. it struggled and skipped areas. If I had drier sweet potato skins I am sure it would work better

At first, my husband and I were both skeptical that this product would work up to our expectations but we figured for $20 it was worth a try. We were surprisingly amazed and impressed how well it functioned. It was fast and easy. It didn't hit all the spots and there were a few that I had to strip off by hand but, hey ... NO COMPLAINTS!! This gadget really saved us so much time. Next thing I know, I turned around and he was done peeling about twenty apples and a dozen potatoes in about as many minutes. So it was my turn to take over and finish up with canning the apples, and making dinner with the potatoes. Also I have to add that I usually don't bother with surveys, reviews, etc but I just had to add my 2 cents on here. The kids even joke that it was the best $20 we ever spent...so true!!!   :)

Skeptical, But Surprisingly Impressed

This is one of the greatest things that I've ever had. Lol I have Parkinson's disease and it's hard for me to peel potatoes. I just stick it in that thing, push the button and it peels and leaves more potato than I do. I am going to try taking the peelings, after I've washed the potato thoroughly, taking the peelings and dipping them in egg and then flour with spices and putting them in the air fryer. It peels the potato in one great big long ribbon and I think that it would be way better than the potato skins in restaurants, crunchy %26 seasoned – – – I think it's gonna be wonderful.! Trust me, you will love this potato peeler!

Trust me on this…

I absolutely absolutely love this. It is lightweight very easy to use very convenient. The price is excellent for the product however, in the future, I would like to have one made of thicker plastic sturdy material and I know I would have to pay more for it, but that's OK too.

Very easy to use works wonderful

Easy to use, easy to clean, no more hand pain, (small) fits into cupboard so does not take up counter space. Only use occasionally if making mashed potatoes or potato salad. Being a senior citizen, I have arthritis and peeling potatoes is very painful.  This automatic potato peeler is the answer. Easy to use and I can put the peels into my air fryer (add a little oil and salt) and make a happy  snack for later.

Greatest device ever. I tried an apple and it peeled in less than a minute. Really added flavor,this is going to save time when I make apple pies or crisp. It is also for potatoes and other vegetables. Great device,

My wife is suffering from arthritis, but her famous mashed potatoes at Thanksgiving and Christmas are a must. I bought this peeler to help take care of the 80 lbs of potatoes which needed peeled. My grandson and I did this task in about 40 minutes. This peeler was so efficient, little to no waste, and super easy to clean up. My wife has recommended this to about five friends so far and all five are planning on buying it.
A MUST to save those hands and fingers.

Potatoe peeler

Peels potatoes well, you loose the ends where it doesn't get, but peel is so thin it leaves the goodness on the potato.
Peels apples ok, it 'jumped' over a section so when I placed back it really dug into the apple. If you can only use one hand, like myself, this is an excellent purchase.

Works well

This contraption is an absolute piece of garbage.  It is extremely lightweight and tips easily.  It turns on by itself and doesn't peel anything properly.  It either peels too much off of the potato or not enough causing me to have to use a peeler anyway.  Even with slight adjustments I couldn't get this thing to work properly.  It doesn't peel apples either.  Don't buy into the fake reviews like I did.  I do not recommend.
