Good so far!! haven't had it a long time but if it holds up as good as my other starfrit stuff then I'll be happy.  Best non stick I've tried hands down.  The copper colored stuff didn't work for me.  With the element being built in it heats up so fast that I can turn it on and by the time I grab an egg from the frig and crack it it's hot enough to cook already!

Love it so far after about a month of daily use!

Used to rectangular style... wasn't sure if I would like square. So far I do like it. Only thing I liked better about my old ones was the lid was more domed, which I wish this one had.

Nice fryer

I used the skillet for the first time on a Saturday to meal prep. In no time at all the chicken was cooked evenly and didn't require any oil. I highly recommend this .

Perct functionality

I recently purchased an electric skillet, and I couldn't be happier with the decision! It heats up quickly and evenly, which makes cooking faster and more efficient. Whether I'm making breakfast, stir-fries, or even pan-fried chicken, the results have been consistently great.

The non-stick surface is a huge bonus—cleanup is a breeze with just a quick wipe. I also love the adjustable temperature control, which gives me much better control than using a regular stovetop. It's especially convenient for keeping food warm during family meals or gatherings.

Another big plus is how portable and compact it is. I've even taken it on camping trips and used it during holiday get-togethers when the kitchen stove was already full.

If you're looking for a versatile, easy-to-use, and reliable cooking appliance, I highly recommend adding an electric skillet to your kitchen. It's definitely one of my favorite small appliances!

This is a fabulous pan, the non stick coating is awesome.  We will have to wait to see how long it lasts but I believe it will last a long time.  My only gripe about the pan is that the cord could be about 4" longer for my situation, but I realize most people would not find this a problem.  It wipes clean very easily and if necessary a swipe with a wet sponge does the trick.  It is the only pan I have seen that if you rinse it out and turn it on end all the water runs out, not a drop left. You just cant beat this pan.  My previous electric frypan was one with the copper non stick surface.  Great , but in two months even with oil eggs would stick to the bottom with the temp almost to warm.  I have a feeling this pan will way outshine the copper bottom pan. Give it a try.

Unfortunately I had to return the skillet after only using it a few times.  When I plugged it in and turned it on it knocked out the GFI on the outlet.  I tried a couple other outlets and it did the same thing.  I have purchased Starfrit products in the past and have been happy and believe this was more of a 'one off'.   I gave a 2* because even though the product didn't last long the few times I did use it I was happy with it.

Did not last long

The middle 8"" of the skillet cooks well (just in the centre of the skillet where the heating coil is). Unfortunately the outer corners of the square skillet barely cook. I'm pretty disappointed, since I was hoping to cook pancakes in it. It cooks only 1/2 of each of the 4 pancakes (The part of the pancake that is in the middle).

The coating is durable so far, but I've only had it about a month.
