GOLF CART CHARGER STANLEY

The GBCPRO is a 6,12, 24, 36 and 48 volt 3-stage high frequency battery charger. The GBCPRO comes with battery clips for 6, 12 and 24 volt vehicles, 2 Golf Cart specific connectors (rectagular and round), and a set of O-Ring connectors for universal connection. The GBCPRO has two charge settings, Maintenance Charge and Rapid Charge. The Maintenance charge uses approximately 2 amps to charge the battery system slowly and maintain the charge level of the battery system connected. The Rapid Charge function can deliver up to 20 amps (depending on voltage) of pure DC current to charge the system in the fastest most efficient way. The GBCPRO is lightweight, fast, efficent charger perfect for most vehicles and golf cart battery systems.

If getting for a golf cart and the batts are totally dead you have to use a provided adapter to get it to charge the first time.  Found that out from phone call to customer support after wasting time thinking it was not working. 
NOW it works fantastic - have charged truck and golf cart.  Lightweight, so easy to carry.  Love it.

Works GREAT - instructions need tweaking

I was shocked when I saw what the price was for a Club Car charger, about $350. Found this at Sam's while surfing the net and picked one up at the local Sam's Club. I have a older Club Car so the ends did not match my hook up on the cart, no problem. I took the ring connector adapter and cut the rings off and then cut the charging cord from the old charger and spliced the two together. I soldered the connection and insulated it very well. Works like a charm ! Thanks Stanley & Sam's !!

Great Charger

Wow, this is a great battery charger. Charges 6 to 48 volt systems. The replacement inboard charger on my Nobles Auto Scrub cost $450 this did the trick for $99. Luckily the inboard charger was replaced within warranty but this has a fast charge, wet/gel modes and auto detect. Just a super charger for anything from a dry cell alarm battery up to a heavy diesel charging system. I will be using this as a backup but wow what a charger and a deal.

Stanley Charger

I was looking for a charger for my '97 EZE GO golf cart and couldn't really find anything less than $260 for a used "original charger" on a popular auction site. I actually saw this charger first on a very popular book selling site, but they wanted $100 more for it than Sam's.

When I saw it on Sam's for $100 less I was sold. I didn't have a clue how it would work, but the reviews were pretty good so I took the plunge.

Let me tell you... it is great! So far, it has charged my 36v golf cart perfectly. It may take a little more time than an original charger since at 36v it charges at 12.5A, but it does a perfect job.

The really neat thing is, it comes with an EZ GO adapter, a Club Car Adapter and battery clips. The battery clips are really heavy duty, too. Way to go Stanley!

I have also used it to keep my riding mower charged. Now I go around looking for batteries to charge.

The only thing you have to do is hook it up to the battery, select the battery type (wet, gel, agm), choose which type of charge you want (there are only two, maintenance and quick) then it just does it's thing. You can read the battery voltage any time without interrupting the charge.

Everyone who has batteries to maintain should have one of these in their garage. Stanley got it right on this one.

Now let's just see how long it will last!

Great Value

this charger comes with ez go and club car connectors. it also comes with the alligator clips for
hooking up direct. each one uses a quick disconnect. .these connectors alone would be about 75 bucks, so you are getting the chager for less than 25 bucks. you can use it in the maintenance mode (trickle) or quick charge mode. .charger is light in weight.and easy to move from application to application.

Bought this charger in hopes that it would work on our church golf cart. Did not want to spend the $675.00 for a replacement charger from the golf cart store.. Decided to try this and it worked perfect.

Works great!

I have both a 48V and 36V golf cart that I hoped this charger would be suited to charge. I found that it did not work well on either golf cart. I did not appear to have enough amperage output to give either cart a proper charge. I had to resort to the original chargers to get a full charge on the batteries. The unit would shut off and indicate the batteries were fully charged, however when put in use the carts would run out of power in half the normal time. If I charged the cart with the dedicated charger for that cart, I would get a full charge and thus a normal run time.
Great idea, an all in one charger, but failed to deliver on my expectations.

Falls short of expectations

I own 3 of these. They make good door stops. All were replaced under warranty. All have died within 6 months of being out of warranty. I was told "sorry, we do not have any service available for these units that are out of warranty".
