I purchased this machine about a week ago to replace my Karcher 2400 psi pressure washer. I have only used it for two days so far, washing my home in preparation for painting. It starts very easily, and compared to my old machine, has PLENTY of power. It cleaned the siding very well, and stripped some of the old paint off in several places, but by being relatively careful, it didn't gouge the wood. I purchased an extra 50' hose for it, as the 25' that comes with it is a little too short. I ran all 75', plus my 20' extendable wand, but saw no discernable line loss in pressure. So far I'm highly satisfied. I'd highly recommend this model. Hopefully I'll have this unit for the rest of my life, as it is only intended for limited use at my home.

Did my research before purchasing my first pressure washer to clean the vinyl siding of my home and my concrete driveway... I'm very happy with this purchase, it did an excellent job for both of these projects. I'd recommend three additional accessories (all of which I also rate 5-stars): the oscillating power nozzle, the 18-foot telescoping wand, and 50 additional feet of hose.

The honda engine is great starts 1st or 2nd pull and runs a long time/tank.  Does a great job and with the addition of a turbo nozzle cleans superbly.

Great washer for every day jobs

I am really happy with my purchase although this is the replacement that was sent to me when my first one arrived damaged. I was worried that this one might be a reconditioned one when I smelled gas in the tank. It had also had oil in the engine. But so far it really does the job.

Does the job.

I am completely satisfied with this pressure washer. Five minutes to assemble, five minutes to add provided engine oil, five minutes to connect hoses, a few minutes to fuel and one pull on the starting rope. The 15 degree spray nozzle made short work of removing mildew from my exposed aggregate cement driveway. Tested the 40 degree spray nozzle on a painted deck and it performed well without damaging the wood soft grain. This is simply a superb piece of equipment.

Quality machine

I have now used it twice. The first time I went to start it, I had a little trouble but I think I may have had the choke in the wrong position. The second it started with one pull! This is a great machine and I am happy I replace my old Karcher, although it served me well. The only thing negative I can say, which is why it gets only 4 stars, is the spray tips will not stay in their holders on the handle. The design is too loose and the vibration of the machine causes them to fall out very shortly after starting up. To avoid losing one, I take them out and put them all in my pocket before I start it now. Simpson needs to make the grommets tighter. Otherwise, very good washer.

Great power washer with just one flaw!

1st time use performed as advertised.  Almost contractor grade so it's good for the money.  Hope to be able to use for many years (if I can keep my son from “borrowing” it)

Works as promised.

With a taller handle - I would have given this unit 5-stars, hands-down. This is my 3rd pwr washer & the best yet (as far as ease of starting) - my other 2 were also Honda engines. Make an adaptor for a longer handle & I'll be the first to buy one !

Fantastic, powerful, compact washer !

I had the machine delivered, well built.   When I read the manual said I needed the carb modified to run at high altitude.   Called the support line, thought they would send out the fuel jet and I would put it in.  Nope, had to pack it up, bring it to a dealer, probably wait two weeks, the dealer would probably charge me....no....I packed it up and returned it.   Went to Harbor Freight and got the Predator which comes with 3 fuel jets that you can put in depending on your altitude.   If you live at sea level, the Simpson looks like a great machine.

Not For High Altitude

Used it one time, it took me at least 100 pulls to get started. Almost took it back but I thought I would let it run for a while power washing my driveway. Hopefully it starts right up the next time I use it. I live in Michigan and it's been too cold yet to fire it up. Will let you know what happens when I use it again and hopefully give it a five star ⭐️ By the way after I got it started it did a great job !
