It almost embarrassing to say but when I used this vacuum, it was like I never vacuumed my rugs before.  It pulled up so much dirt an dust that my other vacuum didn't, I was amazed and disgusted at the same time.  I don't wear shoes in the house but would shampoo my rugs every 3-4 months and the water would be so dark but it was just from the dust my old vacuum wasn't picking up.  This vacuum has not only been a huge difference from my old stick vacuum, it's still light and compact, manuvers easy, extremely powerful, great price, I love the attachments and functionality, and has made a huge improvement on my allergies.  I don't have pets but I have long hair and it doesn't get wrapped around the roller brush like my old vacuum.  I can't say enough good things about this device. I just hope it last forever.

Incredible!

The one you've been wanting! Yes it's noisy, it's a vacuum cleaner 😀 😄,  and what a great one it is!! I don't care the one utensil falls, it can stay off till im done. It is large and should have had a cradle around it, o well. The cleaning this does males up for!! I love that i cam control the suction power on the lower part of the front handle. Lighter dirt days, you don't need it to deep pull. It's easy cleaning, push a button at the bottom of the cylinder to release bottom opening and let the dirt fall into a bag. I do mine outside. When im through with vacuum, take the white foam pad your dirt cylinder sits on and wash it out good, same with the cylinder-- let them dry and you're ready for the next time. Ooo yea, it really is a hairless brush !! My girls and i have lonnggg hair, nothing tangles in the vacuum!! A++

The Best!! Get this one!!

Not our first Shark   This has incredibly good suction.  The tank does not separate from the handle, so no going under low furniture.  The crevice tool seems not to be able to actually mount to the unit.  Not sure I would buy again based on these two issues but I was in a hurry.

Pretty good vacuum with an issue or two

The best thing about this vacuum is that Sam's club sells it, they stand behind the warranty and replace it when it breaks. There are 4 girls in our house so there is a lot of hair around and the vacuum does a great job picking it up off of the floor. The hair seems to put a lot of stress on the roller brush and the suction system itself. When the brush is cleaned it does a little better but eventually it will get to the point where it needs to be replaced. Sam's club, without fail, has stood behind the warranty and replaced the vacuum. This has happened several times over the past 7 years and process still works. It's the best deal for the money.

The Warranty through Sam's Club is a lifesaver

I have tried all vacuums and shark is the only one I'll buy now. The only thing about shark is they still haven't figured out how to help us keep the attachments on the vacuum without falling off. The only reason for the 4 stars.

Shark is the best for when you have pets

it's louder than other vacs by shark but it's got most all the shark features you want.  I have a few of these in my janitorial business which I keep in smaller offices where I need something that's lightweight.  You can't go wrong with these

I happily use these in my cleaning business

This is my 3rd Shark. It is not sturdy or well made like the others. It seems to be a cheaper made version of my other sharks. As far as suction it's okay.

I have had better sharks

I've had several shark vacuum cleaners and have been happy with them, so when my last one started not picking up as well, I decided to replace it with this one.  Overall it seems like a good unit though it really bothers me that shark would cheap out by not putting a light on the front of it and also by using such a short cord.  I can't even clean my living room and dining room without pulling the cord out of the wall.  I had no trouble with my last vacuum, so it seems they decided to use a shorter cord because this unit isn't as expensive.  I've worked in electronics and cabling and I know that the cost of another 10 feet of cord isn't that much, so it really makes me mad that they've made this decision.

Seems like a good vacuum but the cord is too short

Great price but I'm not impressed by how loud it is how hard it is to push and that it leaves so much pet hair behind. I've had several models of the shark brand vacuums and this is the least impressive to me. My last one which is a zero m and 5 years old still picks up just as much hair from carpets as this one brand new. Thinking about cleaning it well and returning to put that $ towards a better model.

Not the best shark model

I previously had a Shark, better model & I liked it. I bought this model in haste. Power switch is in a bad spot, cord hook spacing too close together & cord holder doesn't hold.
