For safety reasons, do not move the bin rack system with the bins extended out of the rack. Can I assemble the Bin Rack without wheels? Yes. Assemble the rack with the included leveling feet for more a permanent storage solution. Leveling feet increases the weight capacity to 800 lbs. (115 lbs. per shelf). Are the bins sturdy enough for storing outdoor equipment? Bins are sturdy enough for storing outdoor equipment. The bins are made of thick, heavy-duty polypropylene for multipurpose use. Add or remove dividers for quick and easy organization of yard tools, hardware and more. How hard is it to build? Do I need to use all the shelves? Assembly is simple with no tools required. Shelves attach to the poles with plastic clip-on slip-sleeves. The poles simply need to be screwed together. The wheels or leveling feet easily screw into bottom of poles. Very pleased that it was super easy to put together.  Like that I can easily pull the bins out to see what's in them. They also give you some labels if you want to use

Great value with All Shown Bins Included.  Easy to assemble, flexible assortment of bins, the large ones also have dividers if needed.  High quality wheels as well as feet included.   This is a must have for organizing your garage or shop space.

Great value Rack with All Bins Included.

It's a nice unit that provides a lot of space for storing smaller items. It was fairly simple to put together. I am not sure if I just happened to have gotten a returned item or if they're all like this, but the materials seem to have been thrown in the box haphazardly, which made assembly a little more difficult than it had to be. However, this would not have been enough of a reason for me to subtract a star from the rating. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because there seems to be a noticeable sag in the middle of the shelves if you put any significant weight in the bins placed in the middle. I found myself having to re-arrange bins to place the heavier stuff on the ends and placing the lighter stuff in the middle. Not a huge deal for me because I had enough light material to place in the middle bins, but if you were planning on storing a bunch of heavy stuff, you may have some sagging. 
Overall I think it's a good and useful product that I would recommend if the items you're planning on storing fit the criteria mentioned above.

Good product

I'm pretty sure I received a returned package as the two top shelves were facing the opposite direction. 2 poles were not in plastic like the rest, and the instructions and warranty were wrinkled and smashed. The very last shelf I put on was extremely bent. One bin that had the wheels in it was cracked, and another had  damage on the corner like it was melted. All in all, it works for what I wanted.  I got rid of four random boxes of stuff that I didn't have a place for.

Bent metal broken bins

My garage was out of control, screws, nails, paint brushes piled on a table. These bins let me see what I have. It was simple to assemble has lots of bins.  More of the larger bins would help and it feels a little flimsey for the price, but it works.

It helped organize a pile

Because of poor packaging item had slight damage. There was some components that where bent. It didn't effect the ability to put it together but it dose affect the appearance. That being said we decided to just keep the damaged components to ensure a quick usable product. The labeling system doesn't stay in place. You will have to glue or tape them on to ensure they don't fall off.

Poorly packaged and inadequate labeling system.

The shelf spacing is way too narrow and is consistent from bottom to top.  The shelves are spaced so tightly to one another that it is only useful for small items.  I'm thinking along the lines of cans of soup.  The spacing makes the practicality of the unit very, very low.  In addition to the narrow height of the shelves, their depth is very low too.  I looked at the photos and skimmed the measurements but didn't realize that all the shelves had the same spacing.  I thought I would be able to make some shelves have higher spacing than others, but that isn't possible.  The one plus is that this unit is very easy to put together.   I wouldn't buy this unit again.  It's so limited in its practicality...
