I was looking for a water/fireproof safe for documents, and other things and everything was too small...or way too large. Then I found this file safe. It is perfect! I love it. I got it home and right away put all my valuables inside. It opens easily, and is attractive in looks. I have it in my closet, and it is heavy enough to stay put when I open and close it. Perfect. I recommend this for anyone looking for a safe that isn't tiny, and isn't huge...this is the perfect mid-size secure safe.

This fit my needs exactly.  My attorney drew up a family trust and said I should get a fire security box to keep it in case the house burned down.  The document would still be safe and available for my successor trustee.  This box does the job at a reasonable price.

I thought this safe wasnt going to be sturdy enough! My strong football son had to lift safe and place it where I wanted it. I love the key feature, don't have to memorize another password. Big enough for all my important papers and MOM stash! Lol

Easy to Handle

Extremely pleased with the product and especially the price. When the safe arrived only one of the two keys worked. I looked thru the manual and called SentrySafe. They were very accommodating and two new keys arrived in a timely manner.

For the price you can't bet the security

Wonderfully solid.  The size is perfect; it allows for hanging folders with room to spare.   If I were note a flaw, it would simply be to provide a grip/handle if some sort for ease of picking it up.

The quality of this one is not as good as the older ones by comparison.  
This is my second safe of same brand just smaller,  that's why I had to get a new bigger one!  The keys  is so flimsy and inadequate for the item that was supposed to be strong and durable.

We ordered 6 of these Sentry files & they are better then expected - they are perfect for our needs.   We added 4 hanging files in each to accommodate important papers for individuals using them with enough room for other items & security knowing these are safe.   Each file came with 2 keys and no two were keyed alike - we would definitely recommend these and the cost along with free shipping were ideal.

Got the broken key out but now only have 1 key it's a 3b3 and can not find where to purchase a new replacement key all sites including sentry do not list this as a key no. 
Seems like it is a discontinued item

So so

I was excited to have finally made a decision on a safe for our family. This one would have been perfect but when I received it it was really dirty like it had already been in a fire. To top that off the key didn't work. There was no way it would keep my stuff safe.

Had to return

I bought this 3 months ago. The keys aren't needed to go all the way in the lock, just enough to turn it, to lock or unlock it. Very upset and disappointed. Plus, no handle to carry it
