We were hesitant about ordering a refrigerator from Sam's Club on-line, but we glad we did.  This counter depth side-by-side refrigerator was exactly what we were looking for.  The interior is more than spacious for us and it is very quiet.  Also, we love the flat doors without the handles. The delivery went smoothly.  They let us know the day they will deliver, and on the day of delivery, they called us that they would be there in 15 minutes, which gave us time to remove everything from the old fridge.  From the time they brought the fridge into the house, connect it to a water line, take all the plastic wrappings off, and made sure the new fridge was in its correct position, it was no more than 20 minutes max.  These guys were very efficient and we were pleased that none of our food got spoiled.  We will definitely purchase on-line from Sam's Club again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most the time a refrigerator purchase is limited to what's affordable in your price range and you have to live with what you get. There's not much that has changed in refrigeration technology from when I bought my first one 40 years ago. Essentially they all do the same thing, keep your food cold. I've seen trends come and go with all sorts of designs and weird features. This refrigerator however keeps everything classic, but gives it a modern twist. Not many people are into side by side these days, but after experience with top and bottom, and french door, side-by-side is what I feel fits my needs best in regards to accessing my food quickly. The door handles are hidden which gives this a sleek look. The ice maker makes ice, the water dispenser dispenses it. It does everything it needs to and it does it gracefully. There's no loud machines whirring or shaking. It runs super quiet which was a must for us as we live in a smaller space with an open concept floor plan. The 10 year warranty on the compressor gives us peace that our investment is going to last as well. I had a small issue which samsung support quickly addressed so you know you have the backing of one of the best and biggest companies in the game right now. Bottom line, if you're looking for side-by-side, you will be hard pressed to find anything better than this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new refrigerator. I love the modern, space-saving look and how much room the fridge has. The fingerprint-resistant finish is great for keeping a clean look. The lighting is the perfect amount and it illuminates all areas of the fridge and freezer. The all around cooling covers every area of the fridge and freezer. The control panel is easily accessible and easy to use. The adjustable shelves are great and I love the extra wide door shelves that fit gallons of milk or 2 liters of soda. I like the drawer in the freezer to keep smaller items in. It also flashes and dings when the door is left open too long. The in-door dispenser is easy to select from water, cubed ice, or crushed ice.  I have been raving about this fridge to my friends and family.

Spacious modern refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When looking to update our old 19-year-old refrigerator to a new one, I was able to find a new Samsung Counter Depth Stainless Steel refrigerator that was bigger and more efficient than my old one.  The new Samsung refrigerator has the standard water and ice available from the outside of the fridge. I can barely hear any noise when the unit is running and when it dumps a fresh batch of ice.
The inside of the refrigerator was much bigger than I expected and there are plenty of shelves along with spaces on the door to fit all of my regular groceries and more. I can finally see everything organized in a well lit and cool environment.  I like the fact that you can set the digital temperature for the freezer and the refrigerator and also activate a power cool to help with faster circulation of air.  You can also turn on the door open alarm so that it beeps when a door has been left open.  It is a good reminder when I take too much time to and can save more energy by closing the doors faster.
I am happy to have such a well-built unit from Samsung and would recommend this unit to my friends, family, and coworkers without any hesitation.

Fits the space we have well and seems to keep all shelves nice and cold. Just wish the water/ice dispenser had a light. The default temperature settings are good and easy to see/adjust if needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks very nice. Fit my limited space perfect. Easy to reach everything. The delivery and installation with XPO is very good. The temperature settings is not accurate. With the original settings the installation person did for me frig 37 freezer 0, veg and eggs frozen. I set to frig 43 and freezer -1 within several adjustments, now it is perfect.  I could not use the SmartThings because my cell phone has only 1.9G ram. I may have to upgrade my phone.

Good Refrigerator

Only less than 2vyears old and its leaking water into the area under the bottom freezer bin. We had to remove the freezer bin, becuasevthe water turns into ice then you can't remove the freezer bin . So now we have the freezer bin removed and must daily beak and remove the ice from the bottom of the freezer.  If you let it build up water drips onto kitchen floor.  I do not recommend buying this Refrigerator.  It's our second Refrigerator to do this .

my item arrived damaged in delivery and i didnt notice because the plastic wrap covered up the damaged door. i called into support after i took off the plastic and was passed around for an hour before being told that they couldn't do anything about cosmetic damage, even though it arrived with cosmetic damage. would not recommend samsung at all.

we have had this fridge for 14 months now and the ice maker has stopped working. 
did the self test, unplugged it, etc. 
self test passes, but no water is getting into the ice cube tray.
the solenoid valve makes a buzzing instead of clicking sound, so it seems it is already defect. 
submitted for service, hopefully samsung can fix this under warranty
