Samsung 85 Inch QLED TV has amazing Picture and Sound Quality! We upgraded from an older 70 inch TV that we had for several years and it is amazing the difference in everything overall!  Few tips:  This TV is about 90lbs and comes in a Huge Heavy Cardboard Box that will definitely need a truck for delivery.  If hanging on a wall make sure you purchase a VERY strong wall bracket that can take the weight of this item and made for a 85 inch TV or bigger! Definitely make sure you have 2 very strong or 3 medium built individuals to lift this TV, being so big it is a little difficult to move around. You will not be disappointed in this QLED 85 Inch TV!!  Would definitely someday LOVE to have the Samsung 98 Inch QLED TV, but it was sold out at our time of purchase, stood and stared at it in the store for about an hour and it also has amazing Picture and Sound Quality!  Either TV you cannot go wrong with them! Thank you Samsung for making a great product!

Outstanding QLED Picture and Sound!

An amazing 85" 4K QLED TV. It has lots of apps, and you can download more. The app for your smartphone which makes it a remote is awesome. I never touch the remote. I highly recommend, especially if you get a good sale price like I did at Sams Club.

Spectacular 85" 4K QLED TV for a really good price

This TV is by far the best TV I have ever owned!  The clarity of the picture is by far the clearest and cleanest I have ever seen.  I have been watching sports and movies for the past two weeks with the family and they are even saying how amazing the picture is. Not only that, the sound from just the TV speakers are crazy loud!

AMAZING TV!!!

The TV that was replaced by this one is a 50" 4k Sharp. Wow! What a difference. We own a 46" HD Samsung, so I already knew that the company makes great TV's. The combination of the size and brand difference are obvious. We've paired this with a a Samsung HW-Q990D/ZA 11.1.4 soundbar, with wireless subwoofer  and rear speakers.These paired together have made an awesome home theater experience. The TV speakers sounded great before the pairing, but the additional equipment has the feel of the cinema without the crowds.

Sports, movies, gaming and regular programming are incredible. Splitscreen football and basketball game's scores and closed captioning are readable and vibrant. We bought these on Thanksgiving day and Black Friday respectively. The setup by phone was seamless and simple. Voice control of both, with Alexa, can be completed by the remote or our Samsung android phone. We would definitely buy both again, and we would recommend others to buy and see for yourself.

Home Theater Difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been shopping for a new TV for a while now and decided on the Q80D. It arrived early this afternoon and I am very impressed.

The picture is incredible and set up was a breeze. I chose to set up by my phone and it was a simple and smooth process.

I am very impressed by features that I didn't think I would care about. Most notably, Multi View. It is actually useful and not just gimmicky. 

I will definitely recommend this TV to friends and family the next time I'm asked for a recommendation!

Simply Stunning!

This is the first Samsung TV I have owned and I'm impressed it shows a great picture

Big TV

Initial delivery team only sent one guy for a 2 person install. He broke clips on the base. Sam's sent a replacement which arrived the next day but they never called to schedule the delivery and just left it on the front porch. It's been 2 weeks waiting for the return pickup and install of replacement TV.

Great TV but delivery has been terrible

This TV is OK, for display purposes. It has acceptable color. The sound emanating from the speakers is also nice. For the price point comparative to other Smart TVs, it is a horrible SmartTV.

The UI is absolutely horrible. It comes loaded with bloatware and the internal storage is non-expandable and even with ALL the junk and preinstalled apps offloaded, it only has ~2GB of free space for your apps. Further, the UI for TizenOS is just one giant big ad screen. The amount of remote presses it takes to get anywhere USEFUL like a settings menu, your apps, is in the middle of a bunch of big advertisements.

The TV wants you to be connected to Wi-Fi at all times. If you disconnect Wi-Fi, it will sometimes automatically re-connect on reboot. A LOT of features are disabled when you do not have it connected to Wi-Fi. Also, the screen dims intermittently even with intelligent features disabled.

This is an example of a mid-range TV that is absolutely ruined by it's operating system and telemetry. All the applications built for Tizen are slow and unresponsive. The TV has significant input lag, and it not fast or streamlined at all. There is no dedicated input button on the samsung remote. Look at all the reviews for this TV, they are almost all sponsored or rewarded reviews. That's how badly Samsung needs to manipulate the data to sell this TV. Stay away at all costs.

This is not worth the price whatsoever. I will be returning this TV, and will never buy another Samsung product or appliance ever again.

Ads, Bad UI/UX, and Telemetry

Sams club delivered, friend and i went to open it up and install, and top if the screen was bent

I think it woukd have been a good TV

I never received this TV. The order said that signature would be required and a person has to be present to receive. It also said that the delivery date was December 4th. On November 30th when I was not home, I get an app notification that the order was delivered. I have a ring doorbell and nobody had rang the doorbell and I wasnt even home. 

I called Samsclub to ask what was going on because the tracking information on the app showed no details. I have a camera on the side of the house which showed a black car (NOT a delivery truck or UPS or Fedex) pull into my drive way and back out once or twice but beyond that I could not see anything. I told them all of this and they agreed that the delivery was not made properly. By the time I got home there was no package nothing. I contacted Samsclub and first they agreed to give me a refund because of improper delivery. 

Then the fun started, Samsclub customer service supervisors are now outsourced because English is clearly not their first language and all they are trained to say is NO to everything. They sent me a picture of the delivery which was the TV box leaned up against the garage driveway  in full visibilty on a high traffic area street. It was clearly stolen, which at least they could have left it on my porch but they didnt coz guess what they sent ONE PERSON to deliver an 85" tv weight  (FROM A LOCAL WALMART) a 110+ lbs which I am assuming they just dragged out of his CAR and left at the first place they could. So much for "ROOM OF YOUR CHOICE". 

I am fighting with the credit card company now to see if they can help me get my $2000.00 back. No accountability whatsover and ZERO customer support from them. I have a good might to go yell at them at the local Samsclub but I am waiting for the credit card companies decision.
