Hadn't purchased a new tv in a while very impressed with picture quality of this TV.  Remote is nice and solar rechargeable.  It was very easy to set up and add apps we currently have.

The picture is so clear, I don't even have to wear my glasses or sit close to the the TV in order to be able to make out whats on the screen. The sound quality is second to none. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clarity, brightness levels and even the sound are top notch for the price paid. The brightness is bright enough for a well lit room. I haven't experienced any motion blurring, even with sports. Money well spent IMO

Great features for the price

I only buy Samsung TVs and have done for as long I knew they were available.  I bought one and found the picture and overall quality way beyond any I had ever used.  I have 3 properties and between them I have 13 Samsung Televisions ranging from 44 to 85 Inches.  Sounds impossible but it's true.   I won't buy any other brand … you shouldn't either … Samsung TVs cannot be beat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a five year old Samsung TV and  it's still working great but we wanted to see how the technology has improved. Wow, what a superior viewing experience. Not only is this one larger, it also has a dramatic increase in picture quality. We use it for streaming apps like YouTube TV and Netflix. Appreciate the abilities to hook up and control our Sonos sound bar and use Ethernet instead of just WiFi. The price was great for the tremendous visual improvement.

What an improvement in the last five years

The 2012 48" Samsung we replaced had a better picture when watching HD cable channels and sports.  This new TV is pretty good when watching movies and some sports in HD but the contrast, sharpness and realism of the image is not up to our expectations.   Faces are often mushy and unrealistic unless they are very close up which is frustrating.  Watching soccer, which we do a lot of, it is often hard to read the jersey numbers during a game and good luck being able to figure out who the player is based on facial features unless the player is zoomed in on.  Our older Samsung was not like that.  4K pictures look decent but most cable TV is still standard HD.  The speaker on this TV is pretty good and the TV has plenty and varied connections.

Pretty good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The  tv hardware is fine but every time that I turn it on I am upset that I bought the tv. The OS plays an advertisement during the first approx. 10 seconds EVERY time I turn it on. The remote feels like a toy. and almost requires that it is connected to wifi to operate. I had to buy a real remote online to keep me from throwing the standard remote in the trash. I had 2 older Samsung flat screen tvs that were great but this one may be my last Samsung tv.
