[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer after my last Samsung washer lasted three years, and then the bearing started failing, making the washer sound like a prop plane when spinning at high speeds. When the bearing needs replacing, it's time to start looking at just buying a new washer. Being a little smarter, I got a five year warranty with this one. Hope Samsung has learned some lessons this time around. I use the machine about twice a week. I like the dial and buttons that allows me to get to my wanted settings faster. Less emphasis on AI is also welcome as AI for a washing machine is not that important. Pairs with the previous dryer just fine. I thought about reusing the underneath drawer pedastal, but then it was discovered that the plastic mounts were broken...not sure if that was an install error, but I'm thinking that using plastic to secure a large washer in place is probably not the best choice. Anyway, I'll be real happy if I get over five years on this one. Had to remove a star for the last washer.

Main board defective after 18 months and Samsung decided to discontinue to sell the replacement part …. But yet they still sell the machine. Better buy all the additional warranty you can get from them because they sure don't want you to get it fixed and sell you a new one. Or better yet, buy a different brand.

My son bought these for me to replace my MayTags that I loved. (never mind why) So sorry that their  STUPID AI (programmererror?)can't answer a simple question for me. Maybe not the AI's fault as the question isn't even programmed into to ask. My question? what size dryer vent is required for instillation? Simple question simple answer. But NOT FROM SAMSUNG.
