I have both acute and chronic pain, muscle- and nerve-based. These are a good value. They're easy to apply, they stay in place 95% of the time (adhesive doesn't hold in water or with heavy perspiration), there's no odor, can be trimmed to fit smallest areas, and remove easily.

Patches to stop pain!

I was somewhat dubious about whether these  Lidocaine patches would really supply any relief for my back pain %26 muscle spasms.  To my surprise %26 delight, Salonpas patches calmed down and then eliminated  the muscle spasms that I suddenly began experiencing.  Literally, within minutes after I applied the patch, it was as if the intensity of the spasms began to diminish and then stopped completely.  I had never experienced such a quick relief of my symptoms.  

I resoundly endorse this product and will be continuing to use these patches whenever I have back pain and/or spasms in the future!

It Works!

My family and I have been using Salonpas for several years.  My husband has had to use them on his back periodically.  But, for my daughter and I, they sometimes mean the difference between walking and sitting in a chair all day.  We both were born with a birth defect and had multiple surgeries on our feet when we were children.  Hello Arthritis!  There are times when we must take pain relievers along with the Salonpas patches,  but most of the time the Salonpas patches allow us to walk around with minimal pain and to do what we need to do.  I keep several boxes on had so I can give samples to other family members and friends when they are in pain with their backs or joints.

Lifesavers

My husband has arthritis in his back area and suffers pain every day so I ordered these patches to place across his lower back and it helps relieve the pain he has to give him comfort.  He recommends these patches for their soothing effect.

THESE PATCHES REALLY WORK

Dealing with the pain & stiffness of arthritis has been a challenge. Without this product I would have difficulty just moving. Thank goodness for reliable; reasonably priced Salonpas.

Excellent Product

This actually works really well.  Goes on feeling cool and then numbs most if not all of the pain.  Have used on aged parent who has severe arm and shoulder pain.  She asked for more of them because it worked so well on her.

Works Quite Well!

Since childhood, my parents and grandparents were using salonpas, a well known and trusted brand to ease and aid with pain. The heat it produces soothes the pain. Recently, I purchased it and to my dismay, when I stuck it to my skin, it was cold almost like ice,  and did not alleviate my back pain.If you are looking for something warm or will produce some heat, this is not the product I will recommend.

Not what I expected...

I work in a commercial kitchen. My hope was that these would help with my lower back pain while I was working. Unfortunately, they don't 'stick' well enough to stay on during my shift. I tried it twice. They ended up just 'hanging out' in my shirt on both attempts. The remaining product is sitting on the shelf in my bathroom destine to collect dust.

Can't recommend for high heat/active movement

My lumbar pain was diminished; however, this is a difficult product for an older, arthritic person to self-apply to the back. I've found it too frustrating and wasteful. If the design ever gets changed to something that could work for me I would buy it again. Until then I won't waste any more of my time or money.
