I absolutely LOVE these containers.  They don't let anything leak and they are much easier to see what's in them.  I can get more in my freezers because I can stack them. Another great things is they don't let other food smells get in to change the flavor of what's in the container.  I would HIGHLY recommend these containers to eveyone.

The containers which I purchased about 3 weeks ago appear to be airtight which helps to  maintain the freshness of the food.  Salads are fresher and don't wilt as quickly as other containers as well.

Airtight Containers

I love the way these seal! They are great food carry food to events or other places. The smallest ones are perfect for transporting food for my Service Dog when I travel.

I agree with the current AI-generated review. These have so far been the BEST containers I've ever found, and that's why I'm here buying more. Their stackability is outstanding and the empty ones are very convenient to organize. But, the 100% leak-proof claim is just false: don't ever put soup in one and throw it in your backpack. And the lids do mysteriously crack, not sure what the reason: dishwasher, freezer? I've found staining to be close to none. 

Conclusions: (1) Surrender to some wear, tear, and replacement. (2) The leak-proof is just mid. (3) Expect them overpriced but above average. (4) If you're ok with all that, the plastic Brilliance collection is very easy to like, maybe even love.

Food containers are the armpit of every kitchen: everyone has them and they're not the most pleasant feature. But at some point, it's nice to have ones you never regret. I'd pay a premium for that! I thought these would be them, but while the price is premium, the product is not quite.

Compromises for top dollar; still easy to love

They are nice; however they don't last more than 6 months. They crack, I wanted to switch to glass but I'm afraid if I microwave it, it will be too hot to touch.

They don't last long

I have bought two sets of these and the plastic lids keep cracking. There are no replacement lids offered by Rubbermaid.

Poor quality

I bought a couple sets of the Brilliance plastic. Within a year, most are cloudy looking, and or are cracking all over. For the cost, these should last for several years, not just one year or less. We have soft water, and top rack in the dish washer. Extremely disappointed in having to replace them already. I'm going to have to find a different company's product as I don't believe in Rubbermaid now.

Great while they last. Have bought 2 sets of these and they all spider line crack everywhere. Lid clasps also break off. Not good for the price or longevity. The purpose of buying reusable containers is to reuse and not create more waste. These create more waste.

Item looks good but dont hold up. They will soon begin to crack and the lids are hard to wash all the crevis's. Find something more durable the plastic is lucky if they last a year, considering what they cost and how long they last you will probably be better with disposable containers

We were excited to get an 8 pc set of these containers for Christmas. As stated, they are leak proof and seemed durable at first glance. However, we have noticed that 2 of the lids have developed cracks in them already!! Really disappointing considering we have been careful to follow the care instructions. Would not buy these again if this is what is going to happen!!
