These Romaine lettuce hearts are pretty good. They seem to last a long time in the refrigerator. I recommend separating one or two out into a different bag for convenience. The price is extremely good, but I actually wish it wasn't this cheap, because that means the laborers who bring this to us aren't being paid enough for their very hard work.

Good Product That Should Cost More

It seems Sams has changed their supplier for this product because it is so much better than the romaine I've gotten there in the past. It's much fresher & crisper, keeps better, and unlike the other brand, I didn't have to toss all the outer leaves. A big improvement!

Better Lettuce!

Every time I have purchased these, I don't get to them right away when I put in my fridge. This last time it was a week, yet still firm with no dead leaves.  I cleaned them as usual, and makes a delicious romaine salad.  I usually give 1 or 2 heads way as 6 heads is a lot and better priced than the local farmers market or grocery store!

Leaf It to Taylor: Romain-ing Impressed

This batch of lettuce was very good & fresh. Leaves were dark green color & very crisp. It's a great buy even though I had to share a couple heads of it with my neighbors bcz two people can't eat that many heads of lettuce.

Great value

Use in place of buns or tortillas for burgers and wraps. We'll mix some in with the iceberg salad mix for a  little more crunch as the iceberg wilts faster once dressing is put on.

Protein wraps and salads

Romaine lettuce is my favorite for many different salads and sandwiches. Taylor is always fresh, crisp, and flavorful! There are very rarely, if ever, any signs of age (areas beginning to turn brown). The 6 hearts in each bag are a great value.

Best value on the market for fresh, tasty Romaine!

I use these for my Caesar salad which I have maybe 2 to 3 times per week. Whenever I have the energy to make the dressing. Got to make it fresh though

My favorite salad

Great value for the money, however it could go on sale every once in a while. Don't let it go past 2 weeks in fridge, breaks down very quickly. Gets slimy.

Fresh!

I always buy these and they are a great value, if you can find a fresh one!! This pack was ok, not great but I was using it quickly. These packages of romaine were super small!!

I had to pick through the packages at Sam's to find a decent one; however, the one I picked was deceiving because there were a lot of rust places I had to cut off. I think probably one half the bag was edible.
