I just gave my grandson his giftcard, tried to activated and we are getting an error message. I hate to see the disapointed look on his face. I hope this issue will be resolved.

Not easy to gift

**Buyer Beware** Notice. You might buy a card that is not redeemable and you have no recourse with Roblox.  Gift Card Fraud risk is borne by the buyer. The Gift Card I purchased from Sam's was defective.  When my child tried to rub off the redemption code covering the Scratch-off area it peeled off in whole and the code was obscured.  I brought it back to Sam's with the receipt and they said they were not responsible for Roblox gift cards. They referred me to Roblox customer support for a remedy.  Roblox confirmed my receipt for purchase and sent the code to me via return email.  I provided the code from the email directly to my child and it was immediately entered online for redemption.  We received an error message stating the code had already been redeemed.  When I contacted Roblox to report the problem they replied:

"Please note that Roblox is not responsible for any gift cards used without permission or if they are lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed. Roblox is also not responsible for any off-site transactions, deals, trades, or shared gift card codes. Moreover, we have reviewed your Gift Card PIN [XXXXXXXXXXXXXX] and have found that it has already been redeemed on a different account and we are not able to assist with it further. Roblox is not able to provide the username associated with card redemption."

Consumers should be aware that Roblox Cards may or may not have value.  Roblox places Gift Card Fraud risk on the consumer.  If you read the back of the card it is in the fine print. 
This language should be posted clearly at the point of purchase.  Given what I know now, I will not purchase another Roblox gift card.  Consumers should spread the word and beware.

Buyer Beware

I ordered a bunch of Roblox cards back in June, only to have them cancel the order. Why? I don't know. It's clear that they still have the inventory. Maybe it's because they didn't want to honor the price? No, that couldn't be because that is HIGHLY ILLEGAL. So? Here I sit, pontificating on why this would be.

Scam? Yes. Reportable to the FTC? Yes. Chargeable?

I purchased a physical card for my son for Christmas and when I tried to activate on 12/25. It gave me an issue stating invalid code. I've been communicating back and forth with Roblox customer service and they told me that the card number was active. However, from that time that I gave the number to customer service to the time I received my e-mail, someone had used my number. I don't know how, but now I'm out $50 and my son has no gift card. I don't know who stole my number because they won't tell me, but I would be leery buying a physical card from now on.

I PURCHASED THIS GIFT CARD ON SATURDAY FROM SAMS CLUB TO GIVE TO MY NEPHEW ON HIS BIRTHDAY THAT MONDAY. WHEN WE TRIED TO ENTER IT, IT SAYS PIN NUMBER INVALID. THERE ARE MANY OF THE SAME REVIEWS LISTED ON HERE, BUT I DIDNT LISTEN. DONT BE LIKE ME AND SO MANY OTHERS. SAVE YOUR MONEY. THESE CARDS DO NOT WORK!!!
