The Rain Wizard 50 Diverter Kit features a 50-gallon Rain Wizard 50 and a plastic downspout diverter. The flat-back can sit right up against exterior walls for a reduced footprint and features connection points for linking rain barrels together. A standard 3/4” brass spigot is included for use with hoses or buckets. The Rain Wizard 50 features a distressed wood-grain texture that’s highly detailed, adding incredible realism to your barrel. Super strong, this rain barrel can take heavy impact and holds up against the harshest winters thanks to its FDA-approved, BPA-free polyethylene construction. The included diverter is a simple 2-piece device that sits in-line with your existing 2" x 3" downspout. Simply cut your downspout per the included instructions, insert the diverter halves and connect the included hose between the diverter and the rain barrel. When the barrel is connected via the diverter, most of the water flowing through the downspout fills the barrel. Once completely full, the excess water builds up in the connection tube and begins flowing down the downspout as it normally would. A plug is also included so the barrel can be disconnected and the downspout can return to normal function. Made in the USA.

I ordered a green one, a brown one arrived, so I called distributor direct. They were super to work with, arranged a pick up of brown and sent a green.  Installed easily, looks great, works fine.  Please note, 50 gal rain barrels fill up fast!!!  You will have to empty them regularly, especially if in a cold climate, so water does not freeze during winter.

Good service works as advertised

The rain barrel was easy to install. I love the diverter feature. The excess water goes down the drain instead of back out the top of the barrel like the last rain barrel I had.

The barrel and diverter kit was simple to install. Works great and  filled the barrel very quickly.

Great water saving unit

Great barrel, but . . .  never could get a good flow from spigot.  Removed from barrel & realized the opening was very very small, which allowed very little water out, thereby not allowing enough pressure for the garden hose. Will have to purchase new spigot from hardware store to correct this problem

We did not get the diverter that was advertised with the product. One that was sent wants use to cut into our downspout. Not something we wanted to do.  We would have bought just the barrel and bought the diverter we wanted somewhere else had we known this. We love the barrel though.

Not as advertised

I love the idea but there is not enough pressure to push water through a hose. I have to figure out a way to put it up on a stand so hopefully the gravity will let me use a hose to water my plants!

Advertised as 50 gallon. It is a 40 gallon. Spigot slowly discharges water.
