I absolutely love this item, but unfortunately, Walmart keeps marking it up in October. I was buying it at 29.93  for the same quantity that now cost me almost triple I think premier protein needs to monitor the price Walmart  is putting on this item.

We love these shakes and the stats are perfect for us vegetarians. They really help us out and the flavors are always great. This tasted just like a rootbeer float that had extra icecream and less heavy on the rootbeer flavor. Overall it was a good treat at the end of my meal.  Worth it!

A creamy light roobeer float flavor

I love a few of the premier protein shakes, this is one of them. I do taste the hint of root beer along with the creamy taste of melted ice cream. I can't say I drink this for breakfast,  but for any other time of the day or if I'm craving something sweet and I didn't eat enough protein that day, I'll drink 1/2 of one the root beer float shakes and save the other half for another day.   It makes a great sweet craving filler!

Love it, just no for breakfast

I love the flavor and texture of this shake. It needs to be more than a limited edition shake because it's one of the best flavors I've ever tasted. For people who need a high calorie shake add some vanilla ice cream to make it thicker and more like a real Root Beer Float. 
I need this for the inclusion of protein and low calorie in my diet.  My husband however, needs a protein shake with high calorie as well. It's difficult to find both of those in one brand unless you're adding ice cream to increase the calories. This shake has no aftertaste as many other shakes do.

Best Flavor Ever.

Surprisingly good flavor. I'm not a huge fan of root beer but I actually really enjoyed the taste. People who love root beer should love this! The 30 grams of protein kept me feeling full until my next meal. The consistency was excellent as well; not too thick and not too watery.

Highly recommend

Great product, taste, formula, and all, but, contacted company, to determine which ingredients were imported from which country, and so far, only answer is it is proprietary, and they do not divulge location of manufacturing plants. I did not ask for locations, but that was part of the elusive and inconclusive answer. I am concerned, as reports in past of tainted products from China and other countries very much concern me.

Good product , customer support lacking.

I really don't like the taste so much, but I gave it three stars because it does have a good amount of calcium and is a good source of protein. I have had other flavors of this brand and they are good. This just doesn't happen to be one of the good tasting ones. Not in my opinion anyway.

Nutritious? Yes. Good tasting? Not so much.

Initially I liked these protein shakes because they did taste similar to a root beer float. However, ever single shake had a clumpy and slimy unidentifiable substance (could have been protein that didn't mix or whatever the “immune boost” ingredient they used was), but it was gross and in every single shake. Also, after drinking the shakes all I could taste afterward was “artificial” because it's sweetened with Sucralose instead of stevia or a more natural sweetener.

Odd consistency and artificial aftertaste

if i could give this 0 stars I would. these are so nasty, even my kids wont drink them, and they'll eat anything! it tastes like an uncarbinated, cream based, very very cheap, almost licorice type of root beer. I absolutely DO NOT recommend, and I have been warning everyone I know not to try them.

Nasty! Dont buy!!

I purchased 3 cases of the root beer float flavor because it has been the best protein drink I have ever tried and it is only a limited edition so I needed more before you ran out. But this was my first time ordering them through you guys directly and I am very disappointed. They appear to not be stored properly wherever you had them before they shipped to me. The liquid inside was separated, there was a solid layer at the bottom of the bottle that no matter how much you shake it up, won't mix in, and they tasted very off from the norm. Overall very unhappy
