I waited a long time to get an air fryer...I didn't want to buy into all the hype. However, now that I have this one, I am asking myself why I waited so long. This air fryer is perfect. It's large enough to fry 4 pork chops or 15 wing dings at a time. It's easy to use and fries crispy to perfection. I love it.

PowerXL Vortex Worth Every Penny!

This is my first air fryer, and I love it. I've had it for a week and use it daily. I've cooked bacon, chicken, pizza and veggies in it so far. It cooks food evenly and is easy to use and clean.

Great air fryer

I really had my doubts about this but my daughter kept raving about hers so I thought I'd try it.  So far I've only made chicken and it has turned out very crispy.

Skeptical at first but love it.

Love it from day one.   Opened box, read the few directions. #1 wash the basket (because it is new). Next tap French fry button  change the minutes to 3 to heat the unit.  #2 Next dump in the fries and hit french fries.  Frozen fries  thing we tried in the XL. Awesome.   I (luckily) learned to just pull out basket and shake the fries and we were so surprised they were almost ready.  Mouthwatering.  My hubby was an instant fan when the fries came out JUST like we like them. This appliance has found a permanent home in our kitchen.

Dynamite Purchase

We purchased this exact same air fryer in December 2019.  I wasn't sure at the time what I would think of the appliance but we absolutely love it.  I have had no issues with the air fryer and because it does such a great job, we decided to get this second one.  Yes, we use both when we are wanting to do both a meat, chicken, or seafood dish and other side.  All finishes at the same time and we have a meal.  Just one major note, do not run both appliances on the same line.  We tripped the fuse when we did it the first time. I did not realize how much pull they run.  Now we run on two completely separate lines.  We love making buffalo wings and fries but I have tried several of the recipes in the booklet that came in the box with the air fryer.  We have actually purchased a 3rd one to give a Christmas gift.

Loved so much we bought two to cook with

I was truly surprised at how much I'd use an air fryer and this is one is so easy to use!  It has lots of room in the basket to make family sized amounts.  I use it often and have put my deep fat fryer away since this has completely taken it's place.  It's great for cooking from "raw" as well as reheating.  It does take up quite a bit of room on the counter, but so did my deep fat fryer so this is worth the trade.  I definitely recommend this fryer!  I've had it a year now and it hasn't lost it's allure as so many trendy appliances do.

Versatile!

I Brought this for my brother because prior to this purchase he was an avid fryer(with grease). Everything he ate had to be be fried, and as research has shown, our fried food consumption should be limited, however, my brother did not care for baked foods. The very first weekend my brother started using the device he prepared a pot roast, and lamb chops and he fell in LOVE!!! Clean up is super easy. Overall great product.

Love This Appliance!!

The unit seems to work fine. Have not used it a lot, but so far so good. The only complaint my wife has is that it takes up too much counter space and she stores it in a cabinet in the garage.

Power XL Air Fryer review

This item should probably get a 5 Star rating based on performance. It does a wonderful job of cooking french fries, chicken strips, fried shrimp[, etc. Everything is crisp and browned to perfection. Buying this online, I didn't know how big it would be and it really takes up some counter space. With just 2 of us cooking, we really should have gone for a smaller model--4 to 5 qt would have fit us better.

BIG!!!

Opened the box and read the directions and recipes. I do the same thing with same times and temperatures in conventional oven. I use an elevated grate so the heat is all the way around what I'm cooking. 20 minutes No turning things over. Example: Seasoned French Fries; suggested time 20 minutes with flipping half way. Cookie cooling grates on a cookie sheet works.
