Nuts are a great snack and perfect for a quick boost of protein during the day. Sometimes you want something with a little more pizzazz than traditional nuts. The Planters Party Tray gives you four delicious sweet and salty treats to enjoy either with your friends or by yourself.

What Are the Different Treats in the Planters Party Tray?

The Planters Party Tray contains four different flavored treats consisting of peanut brittle, dark chocolate drizzled almonds, milk chocolate sprinkled almonds and kettle cooked pecans. Planters sealed each treat in their bags for added freshness.

What Is the Nutritional Content of Planters Party Tray?

Of the four different components of the nut party tray, the peanut brittle has the fewest calories at 130 per one ounce serving. Their original peanut brittle has five grams of fat and 5 milligrams of cholesterol. There is 260millgrams of sodium making it the highest in salt content. There are 19 grams of carbohydrates with 14 grams of sugar. It does, however, have 2 grams of protein.

The almonds, pecans, and cashews all have 160 calories per one-ounce servings. However, the pecans only have 11 grams of fat while the cashews have 12 grams and the almonds have 13 grams. The cashews have the next most sodium with 120 milligrams followed by the almonds and then pecans with 70 milligrams and 15 milligrams respectively.

How Do You Need to Store Planters Peanut Brittle and Chocolate Covered Nuts?

Always consume the Holiday Tray contents by the expiration date. However, it does not need unique storage except to keep it out of direct sunlight. Otherwise, store your nutty treats in a cool dark place such as a pantry. You do not need to keep them refrigerated. If you are concerned about being able to finish the treats by the best by date, you can freeze them. However, it should be known that the oils in the nuts and the chocolate "bloom" when frozen. This blooming gives it a cloudy appearance. Always thaw frozen chocolates in the refrigerator, not at room temperature.
