It can be planted in full sun or partial shade, and can tolerate a variety of soil types. The Pawnee Pecan can reach a height between 60-90 feet and a width of 25-50 feet. I was amazed by the size when it arrived. It was big, healthy and thriving. Nicely packed for shipping.  Transplanting was successful. I looked around and Sam’s was definitely the best deal.

It arrived well packaged and healthy. It was much larger than I expected (about 5 feet tall). The roots were in good condition also.

The Pawnee Pecan Tree #5 Pot came well packaged. It looked good when unpacked. It sat outside in the shade a day before planting. There’s new growth on it so I’m very hopeful it will grow and thrive with Stuart (pecan tree)!

I purchased this a few months ago. When I went to transplant this I found it was SEVERELY root bound. The roots had grown around the bottom of the pot almost the size of the trunk.
