About the Bauducco Panettone History and the Original Italian Recipe
Once upon a time there was an Italian family from the countryside of Turin. Once upon a time there was a delicious bread with candied fruit called Panettone. Until they became characters of the same story. In 1948, Carlo Bauducco, an Italian entrepreneur, arrived in Brazil. He brought with him a family recipe and a precious piece of alive mass and the dream of opening his own business in São Paulo. This alive mass is a mass in which yeast microorganisms reproduce and stay alive. The mother dough used by Bauducco today is the same as 70 years ago.
